Shawn P.O.V

I let Vanessa pass by me and she turned back to give me a wink. My hands were shaking, and I didn't know what to think now. I had just made out with one of my students.

But that wasn't the real thing that was bothering me. I had feelings for this girl. She was something else. I mean mark my words but her beauty has taken over me when I first met her.

It may be too soon, but I do have feelings for her. I can't develop feelings for her though. She's my student and I could lose my job for this.

I walked back into the class and stood in front of my desk. From the corner of my eye I could see Vanessa biting her lip while focusing on the warm up everyone had grabbed on their way in.

Why did she have to be so sexy when she bit her lip? All of this was making me anxious and I couldn't think of what to say to everyone. I knew that if I would speak, no words would actually come out.

She had this effect on me that no other girl had. I wanted this girl, but I couldn't have her. And maybe everything that happened was just because of the moment. The moment of her crying and probably wanting an escape.

She can't possibly want me, and either way we can't be together. She's a minor and my student. I know it's repetitive, but I can't help but to think about it.

"Um hello? Mr. Mendes?" I looked over and saw Vanessa holding her hand up.

I cleared my throats and looked at her, "Uh...yes Ms. Garcia?"

"I asked if I could speak to you about a question," she said and my eyes widened.

"Um yes, which question?" I asked and she looked back at her paper while moving her hair out of her face.

My heart started beating faster as I saw her neck. It felt as if it was calling to me. Just like her. My mouth started going dry and I couldn't think straight.

"Mr. Mendes? Is everything alright?" I looked over to see Vanessa standing next to me.

"Um yeah, sorry just had a hard time focusing," I told her and she nodded.

"Well why don't you go in your office then because I think you need to sit down," she said while putting her hand on my shoulder.

"No it's okay I'm fine," I said and she tilted her head.

"Seriously Mr. Mendes you don't look well just sit down, give us a free day," she said and then her hand was touching mine.

I pulled away and my body started shaking again. Why did she have to have this effect on me? Why did it have to be her? I mean I don't mind that it's her just that we still can't be together.

I didn't say anything I just walked into my office and sat on the couch. I buried my face in my hands and tried to calm down. Then, I heard the door open.

"Mr. Mendes, are you okay?" I heard her ask and I looked up to see her sitting next to me.

"Yeah, I'm okay Vanessa," I said and gave her a weak smile.

"Come on Shawn, I know you're not. Just tell me, did I do something?" She said while moving closer to me.

"No you didn't Vanessa I just can't think straight," I said and turned away from her.

"Are you sure? I mean you've been acting weird around me since this morning," she said and tried making eye contact with me.

"Vanessa, really it's okay," I assured her and turned back to her.

"No it's not. Look, I know I may not seem like the person to read people, but I can," she said and put her hands on my shoulders.

I was starting to lose control around her. The sound of her voice was calling to me, and filling my brain. I could feel us moving closer to each other, and I didn't want to stop it. It was like she was making me do this.

"Please Shawn, just let me in," she said and her minty breath was blowing on my face.

"I'll let you in Vanessa," I said while pulling her in for a kiss.

I was definitely going to be in trouble for this.
