Look, I'm sorry if you're tired of Rin x Reader oneshots but he's too perfect and so I must. #sorrynotsorry

"Come to the festival with me, (Y/N)?" Rin asked, giving you an adoring smile. He sat on your bed, playing with your favourite stuffed toy.

You had given his nice hair a small makeover and now he looked 100 times cuter. (He's so cute already, wth?) You had braided his hair and made him wear your favourite cat ears. To say that he looked cute would definitely be an understatement. That frown on his face, and those beautiful features of his? Add cat ears and boom! Your wildest fantasies are fulfilled.

"I have so much homework to do," you mumbled, looking at him sadly. "My teacher is going to kill me if I don't finish it."

"Please?"

"Ah-"

"(Nickname), please?"

"Fine," you smiled. How could you refuse such a perfect man?

Without warning, Rin crashed into you, wrapping his arms around you in a tight hug, "Thank you so much."

You chuckled, "No worries, Sharkie."

Rin growled, pulling away. " The Shark also bites, you know?"

You smirked at him, "With those cute pointy teeth of yours? I'm sure the Shark bites."

"You're so-"

"Cute? I know," you grinned, smugly.

You had thought that he'd huff and tease and you, but he nodded - suddenly all serious - and cupped your cheek, "You aren't just cute, you're beautiful."

You could hear your heartbeat in your ears and you were sure that he could hear it too. Your cheeks burned and you exhaled slowly, trying to calm yourself down.

His beautiful eyes stared into yours intently, a mischievous glint evident in those purple orbs of his. He seemed to enjoy every moment of this, and you did too.

"I like it when you blush, (Y/N)," he grinned as his warm breath fanned your face.

Without warning, your legs gave up on you, and you would have fallen to the ground, flat on your butt, had he not grabbed you so skilfully.

Now this pose was rather DIVINE. He had his arms wrapped securely around you, your chests and foreheads touched and you were a red tomato now.

Rin slowly inched closer, his lips were barely centimetres away, and you felt as if you would explode.

You closed your eyes, awaiting the sweet moment.

He inched closer still and his lips had barely just touched yours when you were interrupted by a knock on the door.

You both jumped away from each other, as you stared at the door with wide eyes.

"C-come in?" You mumbled, your voice shaky.

"Dinner is ready, Sweethearts. Are you both done studying?" Your mom asked, smiling sweetly at Rin and you.

"Yes," Rin grinned, grabbing your hand. "We're really hungry."

Your dream had almost come true.

I guess, there's always a correct time and place for something.

He did kiss you at the Festival. Don't worry.
