The next morning I texted Brandon to tell him to meet me at IKEA at 12.
I got up and walked into the kitchen.
"hey Ashley."
"Hey Maddie, do you want something to eat?"
"no thank you, im going out in a little."
"with that boy from yesterday."
I looked up at her maybe shes not as cluless as I thought.
"Don't worry I wont tell your dad."
"um my mom knows so you can."
"oh k then have fun."
"ok bye."
I grabed y purse and ran out the door. Brandon pulled up a little later and I hoped into his car.
"what's the rush?"
"step mom." I told him messing with the radio.
A Shawn Mendes song came on an I looked at him and started singing.
"something big I feel it happening out of my control push and pull and then it's grabbing me feel it in my bones like."
"sing with me." I told him laughing.
We both stated to sing. Ok more like yell the lyrics to the top of our lungs.
We both got out the car and walked into the teen section.
"ok what are you looking for?"
"i don't know lights a new bed and bed spred an a makeup stand. Oh and shelves."
"pk lets start looking around."
About an hour later we found what we were looking for. And then I lost him.
"Brandon this is not funny were are you." I said
he walked out one of the closets. "im back from Narnia"
I laughed and pushed his shoulder.
Some days I really think he's younger than 16.
We paid for my things then went back to the house. I made him take everything out.
"ok the bed by the window the lights over the couch then the makeup stand on the other side."
he got to work while I put up the new collages I had made.
2 hours later we finished.
Then was the collages
Ari and me though the years
then our squad
"We got though this no tears."
"Yep no tears. Don't tell Ari but you work better."
Then we both laughed.
