Chapter One- Kill Her
"Kill her," He whispered, his breath fanning over her cheek.
The room was dark, illuminated only by a single bulb in the cracked ceiling which gave off faint light. A small girl Alice's age was huddled in the corner of the cemented room, terror in her eyes.
The Alpha, Alice's master, was standing directly behind her, her back barely brushing his chest. Alice stood still, face blank and her hands hanging limp at her sides.
"Kill her," He repeated, his lips brushing Alice's ear.
She starred at the girl as her hand twitched, ready to strike. She wondered what the girl had done.
The Alpha gave Alice a slight push and she growled. He knew she didn't like being pushed before she killed.
It wasn't like Alice had the choice of whether to kill someone or not. It was a life or death situation. If she didn't kill whoever the Alpha wanted her to kill, then he'd kill her. If she did kill whoever he wanted, then she'd live and continue doing his dirty work.
The girl trembled as Alice took a slow, careful step towards her. Whatever she had done, it was enough for the Alpha to want her dead. Alice couldn't trust her. If the Alpha didn't trust her, then neither did Alice.
Alice's body hummed with aliveness, excitement running through her. She was on high alert though. Alice watched her intensely, her eyes never wavering from her shaking form.
She saw something flicker in the girl's eyes, but before she could do anything, Alice lunged. Her nails dug into the girl's arms, changing to claws as Alice shifted into her wolf. She snapped her teeth around her neck and bit down. Blood oozed into Alice's mouth and bone crunched as her weight crushed he girl. Alice slunk away from the girl's body when she went limp.
The fur around Alice's muzzle was stained with blood but the Alpha didn't seem to mind as he patted her head.
"Good, pup," he said before walking out of the room.
Alice looked back at the lifeless girl, blood spilling from her neck and arms.Shame filled her as she remebered feeling excited about killing the girl. What was the Alpha turning her into?
This was her 14th kill this year. When was the Alpha going to set her free so she could bury all these memories?
18. She had to wait until she was 18 to be free from the Alpha's hold. 18 is when she could leave to find her mate and leave all this behind her.
Alice wiped the blood off her with my sleeve before she left the room, not glancing back at the girl.
She crawled up the stairs to her room, passing the Alpha's office. She didn't look in, knowing he was with a She-Wolf in the pack. The Alpha doesn't like anyone bothering him when he's with a She-Wolf.
Alice scurried to her room, shutting the door quietly behind her. She crumpled onto her bed and stared at her ceiling.
Three more days. Three more days to live in this hell hole.
But what if the Alpha didn't let her go? He's always demanding to know where she was. He was always controlling her on where she went and who she went with. What if he kept her here? What if he kept her from finding her mate?
Alice closed my eyes, praying. Praying that he'd her go. Once she was finished silently pleading to anyone who was listening, she dragged herself to the shower to wipe away the blood of the girl who's life she just took.
