"Just a few miles ahead there will be a rock sticking out of the ground, move it and knock on the trapdoor three times before shifting. If you're in wolf form, they'll see you as a threat and might attack you." He whispered and after a few seconds, went limp on my back.

It became harder to run while having the boy on my back, he was no longer holding on, so with each stride he slid a little.

I did as he instructed, looking for a rock. But there was nothing.

I gave a cry in frustration, desperately looking for something, anything that looked like a rock.

Fear swept through my body, taking hold of me in it's deathly grip. My legs were beginning to ache and so was my back. I wouldn't be able to hold him for very long if I didn't find that rock.

Suddenly, a couple feet away, a rock materialized from thin air and it was jutting out of the ground. I dug my paws in, trying to slow down before I ran into the rock. The boy ended up falling off of my back in the process.

Gahhh! I shouted to myself.

I fell to my side, howling when my side hit something sharp. I felt warmth coat my fur and soon I saw red liquid trailing on the ground from my side. It was a blood stream.

With great effort, I pulled myself to a standing position and looked for the boy. He was laying unconscious on the dirt by the rock.

How the hell does a rock appear out of thin air? I asked myself, not able to come up with an answer.

I limped over to the body and sniffed the wounds on his feet. He was about to take his last breath.

I quickly shifted out if my wolf form and hissed when my arm brushed against my bloody side.

I struggled to move the rock since I had lost a lot of strength, but I moved it. I knocked on the door as instructed and waited, tapping my foot impatiently. If someone didn't come soon, the boy was going to die.

"Who's there?" A macsuline voice rasped.

"I'm a wolf from the neighboring pack. I have one of your friends." I told him, breathing heavily from the hard workout I just did with trying to move the rock.

There was a growl that filtered through the rock from the other side.

"Go away, bitch before I kill you." He snarled.

"Please, I'm begging you. If you don't let me in, this boy will die. His death will be on your hands. He is a rogue and not supposed to be on pack lands unless he as permission from the Alpha himself, and he didn't because the Alpha dispises rogues."I hurridly explained to the male wolf.

"Like I said, go away. I'm not following one of your stupid tricks. I'm not stupid." The wolf snarled.

Anger and frustration seized me, causing my body to shake with rage.

"You have my sister and I'm sure as hell not leaving until I know she's safe. For all I know you killed her!" I shouted, banging my fist against the door.

A tear fell to my cheek. I needed my sister. I needed to know she was ok.

I was met with silence on the otherside for a long while before the door finally opened. A scowling man stood there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Your friend in currently unconcious and has poison running through his veins. He needs immediate attention." I told the man, my eyes downcast.

"Boys, take him in." The man ordered and three other guys came out from the door behind the man in front of me, and picked the boy up from the ground, bringing him into their compound.

"Why are you here, wolf? Shouldn't you be kissing your Alpha's ass like all your other little friends do?" He sneered.

My eyes hardened and I looked up at him, struggling to hold onto my wolf before I attacked the man.

"I will never be with that asswipe again. You don't understand what he's done to me, no one ever will. I am done with that son of a bitch!" I flashed my canines.

"What did he do?" He questioned and I narrowed my eyes.

"That isn't any or your business, and I have no interest in reliving the past." I spat, mocking his stance.

He gave a warning growl.

"If you want a place here, you'll answer my questions." He snarled.

"If you want an Alpha on your premises, then keep asking me crap that I have no intention of answering. I know that rock has some sort of way of detecting whether someone is a threat or not and if I was, that rock wouldn't have materialized for me. You have my sister and I want to see her, end of discussion." I snapped, not feeling up to answering his questions.

"Fine." He bit out, not liking the situation the She-Wolf was putting him in.

"Alice!" A voice called in panic.

I turned around, immediately recognizing the voice as Amber's.

"He's coming!" She yelled.

Her body was bloodied and tattered like mine, except ten times worse.

"Let her in, she's with me." I told him and pushed him back so she had room to come in.

Once she was in, I shut the door and hoped that the rock would disappear.

"You'll pay for that, She-Wolf!" The man bellowed in the darkness.
