What had he done. Will was crying in the same corner he always had, matted hair creeping into his eyes. It had been hours since he had seen any of his friends, and he was getting very worried.

He honestly had no idea what had happened to them, having a monster possess your body wasn't that simple. It was more like his entire being was shoved aside, he wasn't conscious or in control at all.

He heard someone coming down the stairs, and immediately wrapped himself in his sweatshirt to avoid them.

Nancy ran down the stairs as soon as she heard Will's whimpering again. It had been weird and faint, but any sign counted to Joyce right now.

She jumped off the last few steps and whipped he head around to every corner of the room.

She sees nothing, but how is this possible? Will was right there! Nancy sits on the disheveled coffee table, and puts her head in her hands.

Why does life always have to be so difficult? Why does it have to be so painful? She lost everything the day she thought Mike was gone, but she lost whatever was left the day he was gone again.

She started to cry and feels a hand on her shoulder. She turns around with tears flowing freely, but there's no one there.

She wipes her nose and walks outside for a moment of fresh air. She looks around at her small neighborhood and sighs. She just wished everything could go back to normal.

Mike's head shot up. His thoughts raced faster then his brain could process them. He eyes scanned his surroundings, but it was so dark, so dark and so cold.

He reached out, and met a hand. Squinting to see, he gasped.

They were all here in the Upside Down. He got everyone on their feet and they ran to his house, making sure no monster would follow them. He slammed the door and looked at his friends.

They stared right back at him, and rushed in for a hug. Mike hugged everyone back, not caring if He cried in front of them, they were best friends after all.  They would never admit it, but everyone cried that night in the Upside Down.

They all huddled together in the blanket fort, wrapping themselves for comfort. When Dustin and Lucas fell asleep, Mike cried the hardest. He had lost her for a second time, and he had made two promises he never kept. He just wanted her back. He just wanted her back for good.

Eleven jolted awake, her arm was cut up from her slumber in the thorn bush, and her eyes were swollen from crying. She shot to her feet taking off into a run, trying to find someone, anyone that could help her.  Where was Mike? A better question to ask would probably be where was she.

All she remembered was Will's tortured face, and his hollow eyes. They bore deep into her soul, almost pulling out anything they wanted. It scared her how much power he had, it almost seemed greater then hers.

The only thing she was worried about however, was Mike. All she remembered was blacking out before waking up in the tree.

She leaped over an overturned fire hydrant, but then walked back. There down the street was a heart, the heart of the Upside Down. The roars within only confirmed her fear, she had to stop him.
