She couldn't believe it. How could she have been so stupid and oblivious? Karen was sitting in her house with Hopper across the table, him trying to explain to her how the Upside Down worked.
She finally realized what was happening with Mike, and what had happened with Will a year ago. Hopper was also explaining how Mike had done everything for Eleven, who started the disturbances with her telekinetic powers at an experimental lab.
Karen understood why Joyce was going insane, no one would believe her when she said Will was still alive. And the monster in the wall, her lights, that was even more worrisome.
He was crying again. He couldn't help it because he had just killed his best friend. The friend that stood up for him and protected him, was gone because of the monster.
It was becoming stronger now, feeding off of Will's strength and energy.
It took over without warning now, and the monster was becoming harder and harder to fight. He felt lost, and used; almost like an empty shell being thrown around in the wind. He put his head down and sobbed into his drawn up knees.
Why does it have to be him. He lets out a horse cough, and his eyes water with the strain. Anything could drain him because of how weak Will was becoming.
He rolled onto the floor and slammed his head against the concrete, knocking him out swiftly and effectively.
Laying sprawled he had a ghost of a smile; content and sly in nature. He could evade the monster for now, but could he help his friends, how could he defeat this monster, if the monster was him all along?
