Will shook his head, looking into his own eyes through the puddle of water on the floor. All he saw was emptiness and hate. How had he gotten so far away from himself? How had he gotten to the point of becoming the monster inside of him?
He watches as the darkness takes him over once again, and his body assumes the new host. The monster was slowly over taking him, but it was so hard to realize whether or not he could fight it any longer.
He screamed in pain as the claws burst through his skin, and he transformed into a beast. It was almost as if he had a front row seat to a horror movie. He couldn't escape what he was doing, and what he had done was terrifying.
Kidnapping Eleven and torturing her had been enough to snap him back to himself, but what if he couldn't go back this time? What if he went too far, what if he never stopped?
The monster just laughed, Suck it up it told him. You worthless rat, you'll never amount to anything, just be happy that I'm here taking care of you.
"NO! Stop!"
Will's thoughts roared in anguish, fighting to take control. He threw his head back in pain, and all he saw was Mike.
Mike ran through the clearing, fighting back tears of anger and despair. How could he fight the monster if it was Will? His best friend since kindergarten,
His heart was racing, and his mind was frantically trying to keep up with the thoughts flying around his brain.
He held his matted hair, squeezed is eyelids together and sighed. He was ready to fight anything or anyone if it meant saving El.
A tear slipped through his barriers, and from that came the ocean. He couldn't stop the tears from flowing down his face, so he sat on the floor and let them.
He cried for Eleven, how he was so worried for her. It almost felt like she was right beside him.
She saw Mike, he was right below her. He was sobbing on the floor and whispering her name, but she couldn't do anything.
Her own tears slipped out as she tried to scream his name, but Will had stuffed a disgusting amount of cobwebs to gag her.
She tries to move in frustration but with no avail, she was trapped. She hated being trapped. In the closet with Papa, in the tank, in that dark place where all of this started. If it hadn't been for her, none of this would've happened.
but she would've never met Mike, she would've never gotten out of the lab, experienced new things, made new friends. she lulu her head down as more tears fall.
How pathetic was she, she couldn't even use her powers. Instead of sad she become angry, she did not go through hell for nothing, she was going to save Mike, and herself.
After all she was number eleven, a science experiment, a weapon. She never thought that she would need anyone, but she needed Mike. And he needed her.
