Dustin awoke to the sound of screaming twice in one day. First he heard Mike bolt at the sound of Eleven's scream, but this time it was Lucas who woke him up.

 "Come on man seriously?!"

Dustin took his hat off of the floor and jammed it on his head.

"Not cool."

Lucas was in a heap on the floor, laughing uncontrollably. Dustin rolls his eyes and sighs, he knows they have to go chase after Mike, but he had specifically told them to wait there. Screw it Dustin thought. They were already in the Upside Down, how could it get any worse?

Mike brushed his hand through the drapes of skeletons, gagging as he made his way deeper into the grove. He knew he had to get there as soon as possible, El's life depended on it.

He crept along silently, holding his nose against the stench of death; hoping there was a chance that they could both get out of this. His flame of hope flickered out quickly when he came into the clearing, this monster was a predator of sickening torture.

Lucas shook his head as Dustin continued to rant and pace around the basement. It had been happening for a good twenty minutes before he finally got up and walked out the door. With Dustin yelling and not far behind, he took off into a run down the blackened street.

The number of mangled corpses and species of mutant mold was enough to startle anyone, but his heart was beating for a different reason.

Ever since they had found El in the woods, he had been fond of her, despite he hadn't showed it at all. He really cared about her and about Will, but with this new collection of "Will's dead bodies", things weren't really looking good for anyone.

Sputtering and coughing, Eleven fights to get the fluid out of her lungs. Finally gasping for breath her chest heaves, letting the depressed oxygen of their atmosphere circulate into her body.

Her arm was already bleeding, and so was the side of her face, the claw marks swollen and prominent. She would never forget Will's face as he sliced them open with his own hands. He laughed at her pain, and only slashed more with her screams, turning the whole ordeal into a sick game.

He had also told her that if Mike ever came to get her, he would kill him slowly with her watching. She strained against her restraints, ripping only the corner with all of her strength.

She heard footsteps coming around the corner and demanded her body go limp. The only way to avoid him was to avoid reality all together.

She closes her eyes and pretends to sleep, willing the monster to leave. Will chuckles in his awful voice, strolling around the corner to the front of her.

"Well well, looks like we've got Hawkin' Number one FAKER right here."

His voice echoes loudly within the walls, bouncing and fading through the tunnels. El could feel his breath on her face, but she refused to open her eyes or react, he wasn't going to get that satisfaction.

"The princess, where's your prince? Forget about you already?"

The monster laughs knowing he touched a nerve, relishing in the thought of making her squirm.

"Well if you don't want to talk that's fine, I'll just come back later."

She gasps as he drags his claws along her body as her walks away, sending new pain through her chest. She sobs, she saved Mike, but she killed herself. It was worth it, she thinks; he's safe.
