The two, Sarah Ruth and Corey, burst into a fit of laughter. Eyes glued on the television in front of them, the weird character Alf doing something out of the ordinary. "It isn't even that funny, it's just the way Alf looks!" Sarah Ruth snorts, which only causes the two to laugh harder. "My mom loved this show," Sarah Ruth whispers through the laughter.

Corey grabs the remote before turning off the television. "Let's go do something Sarah Ruth!" His hand grabs ahold of her upper arm, pulling the girl off the bed. "Have you been working out or something?" He giggles and shakes his head in response. "So uh, I'm having a few friends of mine over, and I want you to meet my friends-" Sarah Ruth didn't pay attention to the rest.

Yes, Corey and her are basically a thing now, and Sarah Ruth knew that she'd have to learn to tolerate his friends. She's met them, apparently Corey had no idea. Well, no conversations happened, but pushes and shoves did. Giggling when she'd get called out in class happened, but no actually interaction. "Yeah, sure," she says. A fake smile tracing her lips. "Great!"

They decided on staying in her room until his friends came over later that day. Sarah Ruth couldn't look you in the eye and say she wasn't nervous, cause she definitely was. A loud laugh erupted from outside, and Sarah Ruth knew the laugh belonged to Corey Feldman. "How many boys?" Sarah Ruth blurts. "Oh, only three. Feldman, River, and Wil."

Nerves ease a lot for Sarah Ruth, River and Wil have never done anything bad towards her. She was actually partners with River a few months ago in science, and he was a sweetheart. And Wil was a cute quiet boy everyone just seemed to like. But Feldman wasn't a good person; and she wondered why Corey didn't see that.

"Well obviously they're here, Feldman laughs loud," Corey giggles. She smiles, not wanting him to see how much she isn't looking forward to this. They walk out her front door, anxiety growing by the second. Corey's mom informed them that the boys had already gone up to his room.

As Sarah Ruth walked up the stairs she felt as if she was in slow motion. Anxiety is strong, always over powering the good.

Corey walks in the room first. "What up haimster!" Feldman cheers, only getting a laugh from Corey. Sarah walks in slowly, Rivers eyes meet her's instantly and he smiles. "Hey Sarah Ruth," River says. His excited voice eases her nerves a lot. Wil looks up from his hand and waves at her, "Hi!" Their greetings made most of the anxiety go away.

"What is she doing here?" Feldman questions, rudeness practically slapping her in the face. "Oh, I wanted you guys to meet her. Since she's like- my uh, best friend." Sarah Ruth knits her eyebrows together. "Excuse me?" Corey knows he shouldn't of said best friend. That boy knew in his heart that they were way more than that.

But he knew how Feldman would react, and he also knew how sensitive Sarah Ruth could be. And he didn't want Feldman basically attacking her with words for dating him.

He was going to answer, but Sarah Ruth gets to it first, "So you just make out with your best friends? Okay. I understand." She sends him a weak smiles before exiting the room. "You kissed that?" Feldman questions. River stands up, taking a step towards Feldman in complete anger, "You're such an ass! When was the last time you kissed a single girl without having to pay her?"

Wil bursts out laughing from the desk chair. All their heads turn to face him, "Shut up Wil!" They say all together. He lays his head down on the desk, continuing to laugh. "And what are you doing Corey?" River scoffs. "What do you mean?" "I mean why aren't you chasing after her or something? Are you really that clueless." Corey takes a deep breath.

"This isn't how I though tonight was going to go," he mumbles while walking away from his friends. Corey was expecting Sarah Ruth to already be in her house stomping up to her room. But he was surprised to swing the front door open and almost hit her with it, she had decided to sit on the front porch. And surprisingly no tears.

"I over react too much," she says, not turning her back from him. "No, you were right. People don't just make out with their best friends." She smiles before getting up on her tip toes to peck his cheek. "Corey, if you don't want to be with me, I understand. If this was all an act, I understand. You just didn't want to see your best friend in pain."

His eyebrows knit together in confusion. What she said hurt him to know she, even for a moment, thought what they have is an act.

"Sarah Ruth, what we have isn't an act!" He raises his voice slightly, but not out of anger, Corey just really wants to make sure she hears it clearly. "Then why did you say that I'm your best friend? Are we not more?" "We are best friends. I've been calling you that for years, still trying to break the habit. And I also didn't want Feldman riding your ass knowing we are a thing, ya know?" She nods, understanding.

Corey's hands rest on each side of her face, watching as her eyes sparkled lightly from the moon light. "You're gorgeous, you know that right?" Sarah Ruth can feel her face heating up quickly. She doesn't hesitate to wrap her arms around his neck and pull the sweet boy down to her level for a kiss.

"You're unreal," she whispers. Corey then speaks, his words making her heart skip a beat. Everything around them seems to vanish, it's crazy what three words can do.

"I love you."
