When they were close Ivy started to panic as her thoughts went everywhere, " What if its bad there? What'll I do? What if those Shadow Scale actually do come after me? Will I see you guys agai-Mmph" Mason hugs Ivy close and puts his hand over her mouth looking into her eyes. " Ivy. Calm down. You always had the problem of talking tough and holding everything in until you end up freaking out. You'll be fine. And of course you'll see us again. Did you forget? I owe you a solid, " Mason smirks at her releasing her. "Now lets go before dragon boy gets angry."
Ivy smiles at him and walks up the step to the village hall with Mason beside her. As they get to the top they are met with King Xavier and Prince Rory. King Xavier gives a glare, " You're late." Ivy frowns, "I wasn't aware that there was a scheduled time to be here. Maybe if you would have informed me then I would have been here 'on time'." Ivy gives a smirk facing the king hearing Mason let out a laugh, " You have to admit she has you there."
King Xavier growls at Mason and turns to Ivy with a frown, " If we are done acting like children, I would very much like to be on our way. Say goodbye to your friend and then lets leave." He walks down the steps as a black carriage strolls up with Prince Rory following behind him.
Ivy huffs at his majesty and turns to her friend, "I'll see you when I come back okay? Look after the fishes in the stream for me will you?" Mason chuckles hugging her, " What is up with you and those fish? You're suppose to be a cat remember? You take care of yourself Ivy. See you soon." She nods smiling and makes her way to the open door of the carriage. A coachman takes Ivy's luggage and places it away, shutting the door behind her as she gets in.
Ivy takes a seat across from the two and looks out the window to find everyone waving goodbye. Her eyes tear up as she leans out and waves back. She stared out the window to view the scenery outside the village and watched as trees and mountains slid pass. She was so immersed in the view she slowly dozed off.
King Xavier lightly shifted her to where she was laying on the seat and placed a blanket over her. He sat back down and continued to look at her taking in her odd features. He was brought out of thought as his brother cleared his throat. "Brother if I may ask, why did you pick her of all people?" Prince Rory asks looking curiously between Ivy and King Xavier.
King Xavier sighs, "I have a theory and I need to confirm it." Prince Rory stares at his brother and then it suddenly clicks, "Wait. Xavier, you don't mean to tell me she's you-" Xavier holds up his hand, "Not another word." Rory nods his head, "But you do know what this means if you're thoughts are correct, don't you? Father is not going to like this one bit." Rory looks with concern for his brother. Xavier nods, "I know, and if it is correct. I will fight him. Even if he is my kin."
