Lucy's P.O.V
I go out into the wood with Maya and we have some much needed 'girl time'.
"So what's been happening? I mean I need to know this Maddie girl. She seems really nice. But she's quiet. " Maya says scrunching up her face as she bites into a piece of watermelon.
"Mmmmmm. Who's the one that made this masterpiece?" Maya asks taking another bite.
I blush. "I doubt your gonna think that Ivy did this. " Her mouth drops open.
You know. "I brought hang gliders. Because I've always loved to hang glide. Ever since I was little. " I blush a pink.
She laughs. "That seems kinda extreme for a little kid. "
"Wanna try it?" I smile.
"Toss one to me!" She chuckles. I throw one to her and she catches it. I jump off the ledge but before I do I see a piece of a picnic blanket and the smell of some wolves. I scrunch up my face in confusion.
Weird.
I don't care. I just jump off and catch up to Maya.
"This is amazing!" She says. "It truly is."
Ivy's P.O.V
I cry as the pain gets worse and the boys heart beat gets slower. This kid can't die! "He can't!" I cry into my hands. The doctor comes in with a sad face. "I-I am so sorry ma'am, but there's a slim chance that your friend will live. Buzz us if anything happens." She sighs.
I cry even more and wait as seconds, minutes, hours pass and I've slept here. I realize that Lucy is expecting me to come home. I grab my phone out of my pocket and call her.
RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGG
RRRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGG
RRRRIIIIINNN-
"Hello? Ivy? Is that you?" Lucy asks.
"Yupp!" I chirp.
"Whats up?" She says, I can tell shes with the others.
"I'm going to be out a lttle longer to explore. I'll come back tommorrow. Promise. Oh i have to go bye!" I say quickly thinking about the boy.
I hang up and a tear slips down my face as the pain comes worse than ever. " I have to go." I cry to the boy.
I do something that I've wanted to do forever. I kiss him.
Suddenly I feel him kiss back and his arms wrap around mine.
"Mate."
