Camila woke up to the sound of a quiet voice. All of the girls had decided to camp out in Normani's room: Camila, Dinah and Lauren on the floor and Ally and Normani in her bed. (They had a tournament of rock, paper, scissors to choose who'd sleep where.) Noticing Lauren was missing from her spot on the floor, Camila immediately shook the sleep out of her and tiptoed to the balcony where the voice was talking softly.

"Luis, no. I-I can't do this anymore." She heard the voice say, "Because it's everything! It's just not working out. I'm sorry." The voice- Camila now had identified it as Lauren's- sighed.

Following on her gut on this, Camila walked out on the balcony to find Lauren sitting at a table, her head in her hands and her cellphone on the table in front of her.

"You okay?" She asked worried.

"Not really." Lauren admitted, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand.

"What's wrong?" Camila whispered, and sat across from the girl, trying to get a better look at her. Lauren hesitated before answering.

"...It's Luis. I think we just broke up." The green eyed girl replied, picking up her phone.

"Oh. Sorry, I know you guys had a history." She commented. In all honesty, Camila had never liked Lauren's boyfriend the moment she first met him. Luis and Lauren did have a history, the two had been neighbors since they were toddlers.

"I'm not. And I know you never liked him. But that doesn't matter anymore." Lauren chuckled softly.

"Can I ask why?"

Lauren bit her lip, thinking of the right way to explain it. Camila couldn't help but stare at the girls lip as she did this. She found it undeniably hot whenever Lauren bit her lip, which was something she had a habit of doing when thinking.

"I...When we first dated, I had always felt this spark. This...burst of euphoria. But about a couple months ago, the spark was no longer there. I think we had both known this was  going to happen. Then I found myself attracted to someone else, and that was the tipping point. Just a little bit ago, Luis and I were fighting over something stupid, and I just felt tired. And you know what? I told him that. Our relationship had become something that everyone around us wanted, except for him and I. It's like we kept it going for them, not for us." She finished, taking a deep breath.

"Hmmm so you developed a crush on someone else? That must have been hard to deal with. Do I know whom this lucky guy is?" Camila asked

Lauren cringed and stared at the bracelets covering her arms, obviously uncomfortable.

"That's the weird thing about it. It's not a guy. It's a girl." she whispered, lifting her gaze. Camila seemed baffled by this new information.

"You're gay?"

"I don't know, I guess I could be. Luis was the only person I've ever dated. But this is the first time I've ever even thought of a girl that way before."

Camila's heart thumped uncontrollably in her chest. Lauren couldn't like her that way, could she? Her stomach fluttered at the thought.

"You don't seem bothered by this."

"That's because I'm not." Camila shrugged, "Lo, I've know you since kindergarten. If I  couldn't accept you for being yourself by now, then we probably wouldn't have stayed friends. So, it doesn't matter if you're straight or a lesbian, I'll still love you the same." and Camila meant it. She was being completely serious.

"I guess you're right. Thanks, really, it means a lot. And I think you just made me love you even more." Lauren pointed out, smiling as she took a hold of Camila's hand.
