Chapter 1-that Morning
(Laurens P.O.V)
“Lauren get up! Yells Christina
I get up and go downstairs, breakfast is on the table. No one is sitting down at the table.
“Where is everyone”? I ask.
“They already ate they didn’t want to wait”. She says
Why didn’t you wake me up sooner? I ask
No one wanted to wake you up. She says
Why? I ask
No one cares about you! I don’t understand why you don’t know that yet! I also don’t understand why we let you be in the band, you’re not even good and no one liked you! She says
Thanks Christina. I say
No problem. She says
I head back upstairs and get ready for school. I grab my phone that was charging and my backpack and skateboard. I skate to school and walk to my locker.
Hey slut! Says Amber
What Amber? I ask
Don’t answer me like that! She says
Sorry I say
Too late she says
She shoves me into the lockers and I fall to the ground. She kicks me over and over and then stops when she sees her boyfriend.
Babe! She yells
Hey babe he says.
Do you have your knife with you? She asks
Yep he says
He pulls the knife out and gives it to Amber
No please don’t. I say
Shut up. She says
Babe hold her down she says
He grabs me and holds me down.
She lifts my shirt up and puts one hand over my mouth.
She puts the knife on my skin and slices my skin from one side to the other.
She kicks me a few times and Amber’s boyfriend grabs me and puts me in a closet and locks it.
I sit on the ground and lift my shirt up to see the cut. I see a towel and I grab it and put it on my stomach. The towel turned red and so I had to get a new one. I pull my phone out to text Jake to come unlock the door. I slowly pass out.
