Chapter 8- School

Ch. 8

Laurens P.O.V

My alarm goes   off so I get up and  turn it off. I really don’t feel like going to school but I know that if I don’t go then I will get it from Amber. I get ready for school and I grab my phone and bag. I run downstairs and grab a apple and my skateboard.

Im going to school! I yell

Okay! Yells dad

I go down the sidewalk and I put my skateboard on the ground and eat the apple while riding to school. I decide to ride all the way to my locker instead of stopping at the front of the gate like your supposed to. I ride to my locker and then I get off and  open my locker.

Hey Slut! She yells

Dang it.. I mumble

What did you say? She asks

Nothing I say

Don’t lie to me she says

You know what Amber back off and leave me alone! I say

Oh are you getting mad? She says

Yeah, im tired of you hurting me! We used to be friends and now you physically hurt me! I yell

She shoves me and I hit my the lockers behind  me, she starts to kick me in the stomach. She then cuts my back up and  cuts over the cut from last night.

Lauren says a voice it was jake

Jake! I say

Her runs over and  kneels by me

What happened?  He asks

Amber. I say

He pulls his phone out and calls an ambulance.

What is bleeding? He asks

Stomach and back I say

He puts his hand on my stomach to try to stop the bleeding, the thing is that its not my stomach that’s bleeding bad, its my back, it hurts so bad.

Can you call lisa? I ask

Yeah, he says

He calls lisa and they talk for a minute

There coming he says

He puts his hand back on my stomach.

Lisa P.O.V

I get a call from Lauren, only it wasn’t from Lauren it was from a guy named Jake. I grab Christina and we drive to the school. We get there and I run around the school  looking for Lauren. When I finally find her I run to her side, she is barely awake. I talk to her to keep her awake  so that she doesn’t pass out. Christina comes with the Paramedics, the paramedics put Lauren on a stretcher and then take her to the ambulance.  We take off to the hospital and  get there in no time. They take Lauren in and  a nurse walks me to the waiting room. Christina went to get the family and a extra set of clothes. When they get there, they come in and sit down. Mom  is on the phone with dad, im sitting next to Christina, dani is playing with the boys, and Katherine is playing with Amy’s hair.

Cimorelli? Says a doctor

We stand up and he walks over to us

Lauren is ok, she has a cut on her stomach and a lot on her back, she can leave in the morning, she has lost a lot of blood so she will feel weak for the next few days. I don’t want her to go to school  until she has her energy back. You can go see her shes in room 123. He says

Thanks. I say

We all go into Laurens room, shes awake and is laying down.

Hey lo, how are you feeling? I ask

Im ok she says

We talk and then mom and everyone leave because the boys have basketball and soccer. So it was just me  and Lauren.

Lo, what happened? I ask

You know Amber? She asks

Yeah your friend right? I ask

No, she isn’t my friend she says

What do you mean? I ask

She did it to me. She says

Shes the one who cut you I say

Yeah, she says

Why? I thought she was your friend. I ask

We were, until I got kicked out of the band, then I lost all my friends and Amber started hurting me. She says

Im so sorry, I didn’t know that it would have that effect, I tried to stop Christina. I said

Its ok.  I say

Lisa Cimorelli? Says a nurse

You have a phone call down in the lobby she says

Okay I say

I will be right back ok lo I say

She nods and I go down to the lobby and answer the phone. It was Jake; he wanted to know how Lauren was so I told him. We eneded up talking for 15 minutes, he was telling me everything, how Lauren went from being the most popular girl to the most hated girl overnight, how she lost all of her friends except him, and how Amber has been treating her. I wanted to go talk to this Amber girl right now and give her a piece of my mind! He says he has to go so I tell him to text Lauren’s phone for updates.  I then get a call from Christina saying that she is back and is walking into the hospital lobby. I decide to wait for her and we both walk up together..
