Chapter 33 Im proud of you

The doctor comes over to us

Lauren is ok. She has 7 broken ribs ans a concussion. She also is in a brace and In a wheelchair. Right now she can't feel her legs. She will eventually get her feeling back but it can take some time. He says

Ok thank you I say

When can she leave? Asks Christina

She can leave now if you want. Just watch her carefully he says

He walks out and comes back with papers. Christina signs them and the the doctor comes out.

Lauren is having a panic attack. He says

Let me go calm her down I say

Ok follow me he says

We go out of the waiting room and we walk fast into a room. Lauren was breathing hard and crying. I run and hug her. I hug her tightly. I climb in her bed and hold her. I finally get her to calm down. I look down and she is asleep in my arms. The doctor walks in and takes her iv and everything out and then I get out of her grip and the doctor picks her up and puts her in the wheelchair. I wheel her to the car and we all get in. I sit next to Lauren and the police take us home. We get home and Mike carries her to her room and puts her on her bed. I was told by the doctor to take it easy for the next few days. I never told anyone that. Have three broken ribs. I lay down on my bed and fall asleep.

Christina's POV

We are cleaning up the house and I go and check on Lauren and Lisa. I go up the the room and open it slightly to see Lisa and Lauren sound Asleep in there beds. I shut the door and go back to cleaning the house. After we clean the house we all sit down and watch the parent trap.

I check on Lisa and Lauren every once In a while.

Lisa's POV

I hear whimpering coming from Lauren I immediately hop out of bed and regret it

Ow! I say

I walk over to Lauren's bed and I pick her up and hold her. She soon calms down and falls asleep in my arms. I then fall asleep holding her in my arms.

Lauren's POV

I had a bad dream. I must have woken up Lisa because I felt her arms wrap around me and she held me. I'm so glad that I have her. I don't know where I would be without her. I don't know if I will ever be as close to Christina and Amy as I am Lisa. Lisa soon wake up

Want to go downstairs? She asks

Can we talk first? I ask

Yeah what's up? She asks

I'm sorry I say

For what lo? She asks

For you getting hurt I say

Lo it's ok I say

No it's not you were not supposed to get hurt I say

Lo it's not your fault. She says

I couldn't stop her I say

You did lo you did stop her. She says hugging me.

How? I ask

You broke out of the chair and saved me from her she says

After she beat you I say quietly

Lauren I'm proud of you! Don't ever forget that. This is not your fault! You saved everyone in this house. Your a hero and I love you she says

I love you too lose! I say hugging her

I feel Lisa flinch

You ok? I ask

Yeah I just have some broken ribs she says

I'm sorry! I say bursting into tears

Lauren you don't need to be sorry. She says

Ok I say

Do you want to go downstairs now? I ask

Yeah I say

Mike! I yell

He runs up the stairs

What's wrong? He asks

Nothing, can you carry Lauren downstairs. I can't I say

Yeah of course and why are you ok? He asks

Yes I just have broken ribs she says

Why didn't you tell me? He asks

I didn't think it was important she says

Does anyone else know? He asks

Just Lauren but she found out five minutes ago she says

Ok let's go downstairs. He says

He comes and picks me up. Lisa is right behind us. He set me on the couch and Lisa sits next to me. Christina on my other side and Ames next to Christina. We watch the ending for The Parent Trap. After the movie ends and we start to watch A Cinderella Story. We watch that and then we all relax for the rest of the day. After watching some movies and eating dinner we all go to bed..
