Chaper 43 Funeral

Skipping three days

Lauren's POV

Today is the funeral. Mariah was still asleep. I wake her up and she goes and showers. I showered last night. I go into my room and change into a black lace dress with black flats. I then go and get Will ready. I dress him up in this cute black and white checkered shirt with black shorts. I put on black shoes and I then help Trevor with his outfit. He was wearing a white shirt with a black bow tie and black slacks with black shoes. I take them downstairs and make breakfast for them. After they eat Lisa takes Will and joey plays with Trevor

Jo and Trevor play inside please we don't need you getting dirty! I say

Lauren! Joey said dramatically

I let out a small laugh

I'm sorry Jo after the funeral ok? I say

Ok! He yells

They both book it up the stairs and Iet out another laugh. I decide to go check on Mariah. I walk up and she is looking in the mirror and she has her dress on. It was a black dress that went just above her knees and the back of the dress was open from the top to the middle of her back. It looked so good! She looked good in it! She looks at me and I go over and hug her. She hugs me back.

We have to go! Yells Christina

We all go down.

Trevor where's Willis! Asks Mariah

Willis? I ask

Will is short for Willis she says

Oh ok! I never knew that! Christina has him I say

Trevor comes into the room.

We have to go I say

Everyone is outside waiting. I find Christina sitting in the music room.

Time to go I say

She stands up with Will still in my arms.

She stops in front of me.

Will reaches for me and I grab him.

Your going to be ok she says

I know thank you I say

Let's go she says

She grabs my hand and we go outside and to the car. We pile in and we get to the church. Lisa takes Will from me and Amy has Trevor I start to walk in but I stop myself. I feel someone's hand slip into mine. I look to my right to see Lauren. I smile and she returns it.

I'll be with you every step of the way she says

We go into the chapel and we sit in the front row. Lauren holds my hand the entire time. The pastor talks about them and then they turn it to me. I slowly get up and go to the stand. I open my paper and I start to read it on

Randy and Nicole Gray we're loving people. They always wanted the best for me, Trevor and Will. They always put themselves before us to take care of us. They may have not been home all the time but when they were they made the most of it. They will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

(Sorry this is really bad.. I didn't know how to write it.. My mom left my dad and then my dad turned into a alcoholic and is abusive.. So I'm sorry if her speech sucked I tried my hardest)
