Chapter 24 I will find you lauren

Christina's POV

The doctor walks in the room

cimorelli family? He asks

We all stand and he walks over. I grab Lisa's hand and she squeezes mine.

I have good news and bad news he says

Bad news says mike

The bad news is that Lauren went Into shock causing her heart to race and stop. He says

The good news? I ask

She will be ok. She needs to be watched carefully, she has broken ribs and a concussion. She's going to be in A lot of pain the next few days. We gave her pain medication to take home she will be sleepy after taking them. So is she sleeps a lot don't worry. If she is in a lot of pain or she is having trouble breathing bring her here right away She can leave tonight. He says

Thank you I say

No problem, I will go get Lauren he says

He leaves and comes back five minutes later with Lauren and her discharge papers. Mike signs them and the doctor pulls me out of the room.

Here he says handing me a paper

I grab it and it's a order for a oxygen mask and oxygen tank

What's this for? I ask

If Lauren has trouble breathing put this on her. The medicine we have her has some side effects. Does she share a room with anyone? He asks

Yes my sister Lisa and me I say

If you hear her breathing weird it on her. He says

I will thank you doctor I say

No problem he says

We walk back in the waiting room and we leave. We put Lauren in the car. Mike and I sit in the front

Lauren is laying down on the back seat with her head in Lisa's lap and Ames Kath and dani in the back seat. We drive home and mike carries Lauren in. Lisa stays with her and everyone else goes down and watches a movie.

I'm going to get something the doctor said Lauren needs I say

I will go with you! Says Amy

Me and Ames go and grab the stuff the doctor ordered for Lauren. We get it and decide to get subway for everyone. I get everyone's favorites and then we go home. We get home and eat. Lisa and Lauren aren't eating with us. After we eat and clean up is grab Lisa's and Lauren's sandwiches and I go upstairs and open the door. Lisa was holding Lauren. They both look at me

I brought dinner I say smiling

Both of there faces light up and I had them there sandwiches and they eat it. I go and grab the oxygen tank and mask and set it up by Lauren's bed. After they eat they come down with there garbage and and we all sit and watch Brave. After the movie is over we all get ready for bed and go to sleep.

Lisa's pov

I wake up to the sound of heavy breathing. I realized it's Lauren. I quickly got up and put the oxygen mask on Lauren and turned the nob. Her breathing goes back normal and she just lays there. Tears threatening to fall from her big brown eyes

Your going to be ok Lauren I say

She lift the mask off

Can you stay with me? She asks

Yes I say

She moves over and I lay down. I pull her closer to me and she falls asleep in my arms. I soon fall asleep

Next morning

Lauren's POV

I wake up in Lisa's arms. I had a oxygen mask on. I decided to keep it on. I look around the room and realize Christina is awake

Hey lo lo bean how are you feeling? She asks

I'm ok I say

Good she says

Lisa then wakes up and gets up.

Do you want to take the mask off? Asks Lisa

I nod and she takes if off. I start to feel pain. Lisa must have noticed because she gives me a pain pill and some water I take it and then we go downstairs. We help Katherine and Christina make breakfast. Everyone wakes up and we eat. Today is a rainy day.

The door bell rings.

I got it! I say

I walk to the door and get it. I open it and see amber.

I shut the door behind me

What do you want? I ask

Listen Sara is out and she's going to come after you. Don't tell her I said anything. She says

She then runs off down the street in the rain.

I go back inside and I shut and lock the door behind me.

Who was it? Asks Lisa

They had the wrong address I lie

Oh ok she says

I go upstairs and I get dressed. I grab my coat and I decide to go on a walk. I don't tell anyone and I walk out of the house. I walk down the street towards the beach. The rain is starting to get harder and harder.

Lauren! Yells someone

I turn around to see.. Sara

Oh no I say

She starts running torwords me. I run into the woods with Sara behind me. I see a tree that had an open trunk. I hide there and wait for Sara to leave.

You can't hide for long! She yells

I turn my phone off so she won't find me.

I will get you back when your in school again!! She yells

She then runs off and I see where she was going. She was going the other way. I forgot where I came from. I keep walking. It starts to get colder and the rain kept comming down. I walk for hours. I trip and fall. I don't get up, I just lay there and cry. I realized I'm lost. I'm never going to get out of the forest. I lay there and fall asleep.

Lisa's POV

The doorbell rings

I got it! I yell

I run and get the door

I open it and it's amber

Amber? I ask

Sara chased Lauren Into the wood! Only Sara came out. Don't tell Sara I told you she says

She then takes off it was dark outside.

Mike, Chrissy, Ames, Dani, Mike, Alex! I yell

They all come running in the room.

Grab your coats and flashlights I say

Why? They ask

Lauren went for a walk and Sara chased her into the woods amber said Sara came out but Lauren didn't we need to go find her! She's probably cold and wet. I say

They go and grab their coats and flashlights. We drive the car over to the woods. We all get out and we start looking for Lauren. After an hour there is no sign of Lauren.

Lauren! I yell

There are echoes of Lauren's name from the rest of the siblings

Lisa it's getting late we will come back in the morning and look for her says Mike

No we need to find her tonight I say

Lisa we don't know what's in these woods says Christina

We can't leave Lauren here alone in the dark! You guys can leave but I'm staying her and I'm still going to look for her I say
