I can't believe that someone did this to Lauren. I walk into Christina's room.
Is she ok? Asks Amy
Shes asleep. I say
Her stomach is cut up says Christina
Oh my gosh. Says Katherine
That's not even the worst part Christina blurted out
What? She asks
She didn't fall, someone did it to her I say
How did you know? I ask
Someone carved a word in her stomach, that's how I know? I say
What was the word? Asks Katherine
Worthless. I say
We have to tell mom or call the police! Says Amy
mom and dad won't care and Lauren doesn't remember what happened. I say
okay then, what should we do? Asks Katherine
what we should do is to start caring, so she can trust all of you again.
Its late, lets get some sleep. says Amy
I leave and go back into my room but Lauren isn't in her bed. I get up
and check the bathroom. The door was locked and so I knock and she
opens it. She had tears going down her face.
Lo, you ok? I ask
Yeah, im fine. She says
Okay good I say
Its true she says
What is? I ask
The word on my stomach. She says
Lo, no its not I say
I pull Lauren into a hug.
I let go when I hear her stop crying Her legs gave out and she hits the ground
Lauren! I say
Christina comes running out of her room.
I pick Lauren up and I set her on the bed.
Christina follows me.
She knows I say
Knows what She asks
About her stomach I say
Oh no she says
I grab Lauren and set her on my bed and then I fall asleep.
