Chapter 26 Your going to be ok..

Mikes pov

We were watching tv when Lisa screams my name. I jump up and so does everyone else. We all run up the stairs to see Lisa holding Lauren and Lauren was coughing.

What happened? I ask

I don't know she's coughing and she is burning up but is shaking and she is having a hard time breathing. She says

I pick Lauren up and grab the oxygen tank and I carry her downstairs and Into the car.

Mike Chrissy and I are just going to go for now says Lisa

Ok says the others and they go inside.

Lisa is in the back with Lauren holding her. I'm driving and. Christina is in the passenger seat. The ride was silent. I looked in the rear view mirror and Lauren was looking Paler and paler by the second. She looks like she was about to pass out.

Come on lo stay awake says Lisa

Lauren doesn't do anything

We get to the hospital

Mike go get a wheelchair says Lisa

I run and get one and then put Lauren in it and take her inside.

I don't even get the chance to even say something. Doctors surrounded us immediately and took Lauren and put her on a gurney. We got stopped but Lisa kept going. She said something to Lauren and then a nurse stopped us and she put us into a waiting room. We sit down and wait. I'm proud of Lisa and Christina they have taken there big sister role very seriously. They have been so strong for Lauren and the younger ones. I can see that sometimes they want to break down but they don't. No one is taking, we are the only ones in the room. We all sit in silence and wait for news.

Christina's POV

we are in the waiting room waiting for news on Lauren. I'm so worried about her. None of us are talking to each other. We all sat in silence. I looked at Lisa and she looked like se was going to cry. I got up from my chair and I stood in front of her. She eventually looked up with tears falling down her face. I grab her hand and pull her up and hug her. I know she started crying harder and I then started crying. We both let out what we have been holding in for a long time. We had to stay strong for all the kids. Mike looks at me and I can see his eyes tearing up. I have only seen mike cry once. That was then he said goodbye to Lauren when he was going into the army. After Lisa and I stop crying I go and hug mike. He hugs me back and I instantly fall apart again. Amy comes though the door.

Is everyone else here? Lisa asks

No something just told me to come. So I came by myself. She says

Lisa goes and hugs her. Lisa May be the oldest and closest to Lauren but she is also close to Ames and me. Amy is close to Lisa. I know she looks up to Lisa. Just watching them hug made me realize that the past two years we have all had to mature so much. The doctor walks in and comes to us

I'm afraid I have bad news he says
