Chapter 28 home sweet home

Skipping two days

Lisa's pov

It's been two days since Lauren got the medicine. She woke up yesterday and looks better. The color in her skin is coming back. She's still weak but is doing better. The doctor made her get up and walk around today. Her coughing is slowly going away and her fever has gone away. The doctor said that if she is feeling up to it she can leave tonight Christina and Amy are on their way with clothes for Lauren.

The doctor walks in

Hello Lauren and Lisa he says cheerfully

Hi we say at the same time

How do you feel Lauren? He asks

Better she says

That's very good news. Do you want to leave tonight? He asks

Yes says Lauren

Ok I will get your papers ready he says

Thank you I say

No problem he says walking out of the room

Christina and Amy walk in the room

Hey lo lo bean! Lisa! Says Christina

Hi Chrissy! Hi Ames! Says Lauren

A nurse walks in

Here is Lauren's discharge papers she says

Christina hands Lauren her clothes and she changes behind the curtain and then pulls the curtain back and still sitting on the bed. The nurse walks In with a wheelchair.

Lauren will feel weak for the next few days. It's a side effect of the medication. If the fever comes back or the chills comes back bring her here. She says

Ok I say

The doctor walks in

Alright Lauren I want you to be careful, your going to be tired for the next few days. I advise you to stay home from school and relax. He says to Lauren

Lisa he says

Yes I say

Get Lauren some food, she's lost weight while being here. He says

Ok I will I say

He walks out and then I grab my bag

Ready lo? I Ask

Yep she says

She gets In the wheelchair and we wheel out to the car. I help her in and we go home.

Lauren's POV

I'm excited to go home. It's been in the hospital for almost a week. You don't know how excited I am to eat good food. Hospital food is so gross. I'm glad I was out for two days so I didn't have to eat. Were in the car on the way home from the hospital. Lisa is next me with Christina driving and Ames in the passenger seat. I'm so glad I'm trusting Amy. She always knows what to say when you need it. She has great advice like Chrissy.

Hey lo lo says Chrissy

Do you want subway? Ames and I are hungry she says

Ok she says

We get out and order our sandwiches. Amy orders for me because I couldn't stand in line. I say down at a table while the others waited in line to order. I pull my phone out and I look at twitter.

Someone taps my shoulder.

I look up to see a girl who is probably 12

Hi I say

Hi she says

What's your name? I ask

Olivia Barns she says

Hi Olivia I'm Lauren Cimorelli I say

Can I have your autograph? She asks

Yeah of course I say

I sign her paper and hand it to her.

Do you want a picture too? I ask

She pulls her phone out and we do a selfie.

Thank you! She says

She hugs me and I hug her back she then leaves because her mom got the sandwiches. She waves at me and I wave back before she leaves the store. Lisa Chrissy and Ames come back with the sandwiches and we eat. Once were done we throw away our trash and the we get in the car and go home. Everyone is outside waiting for us. I slowly get out and mike runs up to me and picks me up while hugging me. I hug him back. He then sets me down and I hug everyone else. We all go inside and we relax for the rest of the day. I'm happy to be home

Sorry this chapter is really bad.. I'm sorry I'm in a lot of pain and I'm really depressed. So I'm sorry if the next few chapters suck. I will try to make them better.
