It had been a very rainy day and a stormy night. Lance and Keith had been spending the night at the raven-haired boy's small apartment, staying up until the early AMs.
Lance had recently found out that Keith was a rambler if he stayed up late. "And so I was like I'm sorry I'm late to school I had to stay up working on a project. And my teacher was all like well sit down, you're gonna have detention! and I was like why what?! And the teacher sais you wanna make that a week for talking back? And I just rolled my eyes and sat but she saw that I rolled my eyes and she gave me detention for a week and I got super pissed."
Lance chuckled at the indigo-eyed boy who was rapidly saying all of this. After he ended the story, Keith took a long sip of his coffee. "You need to get your life straight," the brunette sighed, ruffling Keith's tangled hair.
"Yea?" He laughed, nudging his head into Lance's hand for more pets. The blue eyed boy combed his fingers through the raven-haired boy's mane. "Yea... Tell me another story," Lance said, sipping his coffee as the rain bombarded the windows.
"Okay, so like I was really really little. Like 5 right? Okay so I was at the park and my aunt was watching me as I climbed like slides and things. So as I was climbing this rock wall, I fell and landed on my back. I lost all the air in my lungs and felt like I couldn't breathe. The whole time, my aunt was just laughing. Saying how stupid I was thinking I-I could c-climb s-shit that high... Pain was all in my arm, I had b-broken it. And my a-aunt didn't t-take me to the hospital... She just took m-me home and t-told me to wr-wrap it up..." Keith rambled, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Keith," the blue-eyed boy sighed painfully, setting down his midnight coffee. Lance took Keith's coffee from his and set that down too. He engulfed the younger boy in his arms, and the ravenette started crying. Keith hugged the other boy back, sobbing messily.

Lance woke up with Keith in his arms on his bed, his duvet being warmed by the shining sun. The blue-eyed boy smiled down softly at the ravenette, whose mullet was a mess of tangles. The Cuban boy kissed the indigo-eyed boy's head, waking him up with morning kisses.
"G-G'mornin'," (texas keith is aesthetic) Keith mumbled, sleepily looking up to find Lance looking back down at him. "You look like an angel who just woke me up.."
"Awwweee you're so nice," the blue-eyed boy smiled gently. "Shutup. What time is it anyway?" Keith asked, rubbing his eys.
Lance looked behind his boyfriend to read the red lighten-up numbers on Keith's electronic clock. "'Tis 1 in the afternoon, m'lord," the Spanish-speaking boy replied.
"Alright then, pesant. Begone with you. Make me some coffee," the indigo-eyed boy smirked devilishly up at Lance. "I cannot believe you just said that," the Cuban boy glared daggers at Keith, but relucatntly got up.
"You'll pay," he said before walking off briskly.

Kith sat down on the small islannd in the middle of the kitchen, stirring his coffee. "Thanks, Lance. This looks good."
"You're welcome, I hope you enjoy it," Lance replied as the indigo-eyed boy took a sip from the coffee.
Almost immediatly, Keith stap it back into the cup, "holy shit!! Ewwwwwww what'd you put in this thing!?!?" Lanc was too busy laughing his head off.
After a minute of Keith angrily staring down the blue-eyed boy, he said, "oh, y'know. Just some ketchup, minced garlic... Honey to mask the smell... Oh, and some pickle relish!"
"fuck you, why the hell wou--" the pale boy got cut off. "I told you you'd pay for calling me a pesant," lance grinned his signatre shit-eating grin.
