"Lance, stop doing that," Keith warned once more about Lance walking backward to face the pale boy. The two were on their way to school, going to meet up with the rest of the group later.

"Lance stop doing what?" The Spanish boy asked with a shit-eating grin plastered on his face. "Stop walking backward, you're going to get hurt," Keith responded, actually a bit worried. But he showed no sign of the worry, having an attitude in his words.

"Psh, I'll be fine if you just watch where we're going," the taller boy rolled his eyes. The raven-haired boy repositioned his backpack and nodded, staring at the idiot in front of him.

"Plus, even if I die, I have a will," the Spanish boy told him, holding up a thin finger. "Who's in it?" Keith asked, curious to who he was going to leave his very little belongings to. "You'll find that out when I die. That's the beauty of a will," Lance said.

"Why would you even have one?" Keith asked, brows furrowing. They were only in their senior year, it was a bit early for anyone to have a will at that age. The lanky boy shrugged, "I wrote it at, like, 2 AM."

"Lance, we're about to hit the street, so watch out or you'll get hit." The shorter boy told Lance, who in turn kept walking. "Lance! Stop that!" The indigo-eyed boy looked harshly at Lance, walking faster to grab him. The blue-eyed boy only laughed, slowing down a tiny bit.

Before the hot-head could tug the Spanish-speaking boy back to safety, it was too late. Right as a truck hit Lance, everything went black.

Keith woke up for the 10th night in a row, cold sweat dousing his body. Tears stained his pale cheeks, and he wiped off the recent ones. He sighed, knowing it was all a dream. Of course, the whole thing must have been a dream. Keith rolled over, searching for Lance's hand. But, like all of the other nights prior, he found the bed cold.

Of course, Lance had to be out with Pidge, Allura, Hunk, or Shiro. The senior rolled back over and fumbled for his phone. Once the raven-haired boy got it, he called Lance only to have his phone go straight to voicemail.

Keith rolled his eyes, still half asleep. Lance probably didn't charge his phone. Of course, his phone must've died. The sleepy boy called Shiro up, and on the fourth ring, he answered.

"Hey, Keith. You alright?" Came a deep voice from Keith's phone. "Hey Shiro, I'm fine. Uh, is Lance over there with you?" The indigo-eyed boy asked with a yawn. "Oh, Keith... L-Lance is... Lance is... Oh, Keith," Shiro's voice cracked, his heart breaking. Shiro knew that Keith was still in denial over Lance's death... Even though the boy had watched it happen. Most nights, Keith would call him and ask the same question, like it was a routine. But it broke Shiro's heart to tell him each night.

"K-Keith, Lance has passed, r-remember? He's a-asleep now," Shiro's sad words echoed through Keith's mind.

Oh of course... Lance was dead.

(504 words. Hey everyone, happy Sunday! This one is a lot shorter, but that's fine b/c it's a lot sadder. See you all next chapter! -Julian)
