Lance was walking to his boyfriend Keith's house, it being a sunny, cloudless day. The tall boy wanted to surprise the raven-haired boy by coming over, having not made a single plan. Which was stupid, but what could you expect from someone who doesn't like to use their brain?

Upon arriving at Keith's townhouse, the blue-eyed boy knocked, waiting patiently at the door. A short, indigo-eyed boy appeared at the door, opening it. Lance noticed Keith's hair was messy, and he was wearing just an oversized sweatshirt and boxers.

Keith's outfit might have been Lance's, but the lanky boy didn't comment. "Hey, Lance," the shorter boy said while looking up at the love of his life in front of him. Lance engulfed the raven-haired boy in his arms, "hey Keithy~!" At this name, Lance's lover blushed, a small smile playing on his lips. Keith invited the Cuban boy inside, even though his apartment was terribly unkept.  Lance's blue orbs scanned the small living room as Keith plopped down on a loveseat.

"You need to take better care of your apartment," Lance commented, following suit of Keith and sitting next to him. Before the pale boy could reply, Lance shrieked, jumping back up and grabbing his bottom. "S-Something poked me!!" Keith raised a brow, "wha?" He looked down at the cushion beside him, only to find that he'd left his two knitting needles there.

A dark blush arose on Keith's cheeks, but his voice was clear, "oh, they're just my knitting needles." Lance quirked his brows upward, "you knit?" The lanky boy took a knitting needle in his fingers, gazing at it. The smaller boy nodded shyly, "yeah, sometimes."

"That's cool," the light brown-haired boy replied, sitting back down away from the needles. "Y-You think?" Keith asked, only wanting approval from his boyfriend. Lance nodded, "yeah! Could you, I dunno, teach me?"

Keith blinked at this question, surprised Lance would even want to learn how to knit. "S-Sure," the raven-haired boy responded.

---

"Pull up the uh, next loop... The one right above it," Keith instructed the other boy. Lance did that, looking up at Keith's small stitches to see he did it right. "Alright, now what?" Lance questioned, looking back down.

"Pull the needle through the loop, and there. See? It's fine if you drop a stitch, yea?" The smaller boy looked at Lance in approval as he fixed his recent mistake. The Cuban boy had learned quickly but totally had freaked out when he dropped a stitch. Though, Keith was there to show him how to fix it.

---

After Lance has cast off his small piece of "the coolest thing ever," it was already 9 PM. "Very good, Lancelot," Keith praised the taller boy as he ruffled his brown locks in a twist. "Thanks for teaching me," Lance yawned, putting the items on the coffee table.

Keith yawned, Lance's yawn having been contagious. "Can I just spend the night here? I don't wanna leave," Lance told the boy beside him. "Yeah, my bedroom's clean," Keith replied, standing. As Lance stood, he said, "are you implying that if your bedroom wasn't clean, you'd tell me to walk home?"

Keith laughed that precious, rare laugh, "maybe. Come on, I have some of your clothes you can wear."
