It was around 8 or 9 in the morning at the McClain-Sanchez household. Keith had woken up from the glorious smell of bacon, sausage, eggs, and pancakes. So it wasn't a surprise that he was awake that early. The raven-haired boy also heard a faint singing, which sounded perfect in his ears. Keith noted that his fiance wasn't in bed with him, which was normal.
Lance would always wake up earlier than him, seeing as the blue-eyed boy was more of an early bird. So, the pale boy stood, his vision blurring from the sudden movement. After a few seconds, Keith regained his sight only to rub his eyes and stretch for a few moments. After some time, the short boy walked out of Lance's warm and comfortable room, heading to the smell of homemade breakfast.
As he drew near, the singing became clearer, and Keith knew it was Lance's pristine voice. The pale boy realized the Cuban boy was singing 1 2 3 4 by The Plain White T's. The indigo-eyed boy sighed as he leaned on the white doorframe, watching his fiance sway his lean figure around the kitchen, using a spatula as a microphone.
The younger boy's heart melted as he watched his love be so gorgeous as if no one in the world could match his beauty and grace. In Keith's mind, no one would even get close... As Lance turned his back towards Keith, he decided to walk up to him. The lanky boy was too occupied in singing to realize that his fiance was close behind him. The shorter boy wrapped his arms around Lance's waist, holding him tight despite the height difference.
"Awwweee~! look who woke up~~," the Cuban boy chuckled lightly after he stopped singing. "Do you already want a divorce?" Keith's sharp voice snapped at him. "No," Lance said, flipping the pancakes. "Then don't use baby voice," the raven-haired boy said. "Then what do I do?" The bilingual boy asked, making sure none of the bacon grease got on Keith. Said boy just nuzzled his head onto the lanky boy's back, "keep singin.'" "Mmmm... Okay," the brunette said before he continued to sing a totally different song.
It was hey There Delilah, yet still by Plain White T's. Yet, Keith noticed something odd... When his fiance should have been saying 'Delilah,' he said 'Keithy.' Yet that boy sang it like Keithy was there all that time... And for some odd reason, Keith loved the new name change in the blue-eyed boy's words. So, as the two lovers swayed back and forth to Lance's singing, they were happy. And that was all that mattered.
