Lance had woken up once again, opening his eyes just to see the white padded foam walls once more. The only thing Lance looked forward to every day was seeing Keith. "K-Keith? Are you awake?" The lanky boy asked. "Yea, Lance. You okay?" Keith asked, glancing at him. After a while, Lance sighed. "No, p-please get this jacket o-off," the brunette's voice cracked as he shuffled over to Keith. The pale boy placed his hands on the Cuban boy's thighs. "I can't," he said. "Y-yes you c-can," the blue-eyed boy whimpered.

Lance had developed a stutter over the time he had been locked up in this hellish asylum. People called him 'crazy' for talking to himself. 'Insane' for talking to some 'invisible' person named Keith Kogane. Keith was real. He was human and Lance saw him as clear as day. Yet now Lance got put in this asylum because everyone else is crazy. No one else gets Lance like Keith does, and that's why his mother put him into this hospital in the first place.

"Honey, I can't," Keith said as a frown crossed his flawless features. "W-why," Lance asked as his boyfriend lied down, his head resting on the Cuban boy's thighs. The raven-haired boy sighed, "I dunno how."

This would be the part where Lance would start crying. Yet he couldn't. The blue-eyed boy was too malnourished because he refused to eat and drink. That mush wasn't food and had this strange smell to it. And Lance wasn't hungry.

"Hey hey hey, it's okay. At least I'm here with you," Keith whispered, hugging his lover's waist. "I-I know," the blue-eyed boy responded. "I just w-wish I could hug you.." "I know, Lance. You'll be out of this place soon enough," the indigo-eyed boy responded. The lanky boy looked down at Keith, seeing his dirtied straightjacket in the process. Silence passed between the two of them for a while. The two had nothing to talk about anymore, silence consisted of most of the day.

"I-I'm so d-dumb... I s-shouldn't even b-b-be here..." Lance's stutter worsened, his voice pained and broken. "Don't say that, Lance. C'mon, don't be like that," Keith replied, sitting up as his hands remained on his lover's waist.

"I don't w-want to be h-here. I w-want to d-die," Lance's small voice echoed softly in the bare white room. "Lance, don't think like that," the smaller boy kissed the Cuban boy's cheeks gently, running one hand through his hair while the other hand stayed on Lance's waist. "If you died, you wouldn't see me," Keith stated.

The frail boy nodded as his lover continued, "y'know? And I'd be really sad if you left me. I love you too much to even think about you wanting to kill yourself." After Keith's small speech, Lance nodded. "Y-yea. I know.. I-I'm sorry." "No need to be," the indigo-eyed boy replied, "this room gets to you. The way those scientists treat you like a lab rat get to you too. I get it. But let's stay positive today, kay?"

"A-alright," Lance stuttered, nodding his head.

"Lance, are you awake?" Dr Shirogane asked as he opened the almost always locked door. The only time that door was open was if Lance was recieving food or if Dr. Shirogane was checking up on him.

"N-No," Lance responded as he tried to stretch. Dr. Shiro, which Lance referred to him as, shut the door and walked over to his patient, sitting down in front of him. The ocean-blue-eyed boy glanced at Keith, who was sleeping in a corner.

"How are you?" Shiro asked, peering at the lanky boy as he clicked his pen. "I w-want to get out of here," Lance responded, looking at the built man straight in the eyes. Shiro wrote that down as he spoke, "you will soon."

"Y-You've been saying that for a l-long time now," Lance pointed out, having no idea what day it was. Shiro didn't respond but only ignored him, "are you still talking to Keith?" Lance scoffed, "he's in the same r-room as me, we d-didn't have a fight or anything."

"Alllrrriiigghhhttt," Shiro responded as he scribbled something down. "What's he doing right now?" Lance looked at his doctor like he was crazy, "d-do you not have e-eyes? He's sleeping."

The built man wrote that down, sighing. "Alright, that's all. Thank you." The lanky boy lied on his back as Shiro stood. "Can I at least get out of this straight jacket?" Lance asked quietly. "I'm afraid not," the black-eyed male replied before he left.

As Lance heard the click of the door being locked, all he could think about was how he'd be in this asylum until he died.

(784 words. I'll add more to this okay just--- I'm too tired. Anyway, this is more in like Lance's brain, that's kinda why it doesn't make sense. Also, lance is just seeing Keith like he's real but he's not. Sort of like an imaginary friend but yeah. Also, lance (in this) had tried to kill his siblings that's why he got put in the asylum but Lance doesn't remember it.-Julian)
