It was a sunny day for everyone but Lance and his friends. The Cuban boy and his daughter, Scarlet, were watching Keith Kogane get put under ground. Lance watched, still in shock as Keith was being buried.

Lance thought his husband could fight it... Keith had gotten Cancer a year ago, and that demon had finally taken over his soul... Scarlet, their daughter, was only three. The married couple had adopted her at two, with her soft brown eyes and black hair.

The lanky boy pulled his daughter close as he watched, unable to do anything else. "Dad? W-Why is daddy being buried? H-He has to do his work, they can't put him under there... Daddy had a job..." Scarlet's voice quaked under the weight of the clouds passing by.

"Baby..." Lance looked down at her with tearful eyes as Scarlet began crying. "Wh-Wh-Why are they doing that to daddy? H-He has paperwork t-t-to do..."

The shaken sobs could be well heard from the graveyard that day, and it was a shame that Keith wasn't there to hold them.
