Kian

I kept staring down at the clock on my phone, she was late. Zoe was never late unless something bad happened and I was starting to get scared. My eyes kept watching the people pass by in the hallway, but none of them were Zoe.

Where are you?
Are you okay? You have never been late to meet me.

I heard a bunch of girls start to yell that pulled my eyes away from my phone. I seen Zoe pushing a girl up against the wall. "Holy Sh-" I started but i caught myself. "Zoe!" I yelled as i ran up to her.

"Oh look, there's my baby!" The girl said as she stared at me with lust filled eyes, but i looked at her with disgust. "Tell her what we had." She said as she looked at Zoe. Zoe's face was red with anger, her eyes never dropped away from the other girls.

"Who are you?" I asked as i tried to step closer to Zoe. "Baby, please let's go." I whispered into Zoe's ear as i tried to pull her hands away from the girl. "I don't know her, i promise." I whispered as her hands fell.

"Kian." The girl whimpered as she started to follow us. "Please. You have to remember me." I felt her put her hands against my skin, but i instantly pushed her away.

"Stay away from me." I looked down at Zoe as her eyes followed the floor, "And my girl." I wrapped my arm around her neck as she grabbed my hand.

"Who is that Ki?" Zoe asked quietly as her grip grew tighter on my hand. "She said that you were going to leave me, and then everything went black." I pulled her into my chest.

"I am never gonna leave you, i promise. I don't even know who she is, I have never seen her." I felt her grip on my shirt get tighter, then her body jerked. I knew she was crying and it broke my heart. "I promise you baby, i don't know who she is. " I rubbed circles into her back with my hand in efforts to try to calm her down. "I am not gonna leave you." I whispered into her ear before i pressed my lips against her cheek.

"I am scared that you are gonna leave me now. I know you said that you weren't going to, but too many promises have been broken." She brought her broken eyes to meet mine. I wiped the tears out from under her eyes as i felt my heart breaking for her.

I held my pinky out for her as she hesitantly grabbed my pinky with hers. "I promise." I said as i brought my fist to my lips. She did the same, and that's when i seen a small smile form."I will meet you right after this class." I said as I wrapped my arms around her waist. "I will ditch this class a little earlier, and try to make it to your class." I pressed my lips against her forehead. I started to pull away from her.

She frowned as her eyes fell down to her feet. She moved her converse around on the ground. "Will you walk me to class?" She asked as she slowly brought her eyes to meet mine. I nodded as I grabbed her hand inside of mine. She rested her head against my arm as we started to walk.

I waited outside for what felt like hours, but it hadn't been that long. I kept looking around trying to find her, but I didn't see her. I felt small arms wrap around my torso, I looked over my shoulder. "Hey baby girl!" I said as I turned my body around to face her. "Are you feeling any better?" She smiled up at me. "Where am I walking you to?" I said as we started to venture to her house.

"End of the road." She said as she wrapped her arm around my back. "They shouldn't see me that way." I kissed the top of her head as I wrapped my arm around her neck.

"I like this rebellious side of you Zoe." We both chuckled as she playfully smacked my chest. "I figured you would ditch me when it came down to it. I didn't think that you would actually disobey your dad when you had to. I figured you would be too scared." I said as she rolled her eyes.

"Do you think that I would just give you up? That's hilarious. I could careless about the consequences of my dad finding out, you are the love of my life. I am not going to lose you over my dad being a total douche about things. You make me happy, and he doesn't realize that. I am not giving up my happiness or the love of my life over him. We snuck around even when we didn't have to, so we should be pros at this by now." I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk with a bright smile across my lips. "What?" she half laughed as she turned to look at me.

"You." I said as I pulled her hips to mine. "You make me so happy." I kissed her lips gently, I felt her body melt into mine. "You are my little rebel." I said as we both couldn't help but chuckle. She kept her body wrapped around mine like she was afraid to let go. "You are scared, aren't you?" I asked as she shyly nodded. "It's okay to be scared. I am scared everyday that you are going to find someone better and leave me. I am scared that you will get tired of me and leave me . I am scared that your dad will finally tear us apart. " She hugged me tighter than before.

"We can make this work, right?" she asked into my chest as I ran my fingers through her hair. "We aren't going to lose each other, are we? I don't want to lose you Kian. " I could see the tears start to form in her eyes, and I couldn't help but let some tears fall my self.

"I am not going anywhere." I said with a soft smile pressed against my lips. "They can send me to jail, and that will be my lesson on how to be sneakier. They aren't going to pull us apart." She pulled herself away from me.

"I will see you at our spot tonight." She winked as she started walking down the street. I smiled at her as I started to walk towards my house.
