I woke up the next morning with my alarm clock screaming for me to wake up. I groaned before I slammed my hand on it. I checked my phone like I did every morning, and I didn't see messages from Kian yet but I just assumed he was still asleep. "I have a question." My dad said as he barged into my room. I pulled myself up against the backboard. "That Kian boy, what's his last name?" he asked as he propped himself up against the door frame.

"Lawley." He furrowed his eyebrows. "It's a weird name, I know." he looked stunned by his name while I smiled. "Okay, I've got to get ready." He raised his eyebrows before he left the room.

me:
My dad is gonna be doing a background check soon, so I love you.

 Kian:
Excuse me? If he doesn't like me then I guess we will go back to sneaking around, you are hilarious if you think I'm gonna leave you. I love you too much!!

I smiled as I laid my phone back on the bedside table. I kept trying to push my smile away, but it was impossible. Kian made me so happy and I knew that our sneaking around would eventually become necessary if we wanted our relationship to survive. I really didn't want to lose him, but I knew deep down that is what was going to happen. "Kian is here." My dad yelled from downstairs. I heard jogging up the steps then a loud crash. I looked out into the hallway to see Kian laying on the ground holding his knee, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I knelt down beside him. I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"Holy cuss word, my knee hurts." He said as he pulled his knee closer to his body. He closed his eyes in pain, and my laughing started to fade. "Oh my gosh, I am in so much pain." He said as he started to pull himself off the ground. "It hurts to walk, oh lord." he wrapped his arm around my neck for support, I tried my best to assist him to my bed, but he was a lot of weight for me.

"Are you gonna be okay?" I asked as he laid down on the bed. He nodded as he laid across my bed, he looked so tired. " You didn't sleep last night, did you?" He shook his head as he pulled a pillow under his head. "What happened?" I walked into my closet.

"My brothers got into it. They kept my sisters and me up all night. My mom had to leave so she could get sleep for work." I pulled my clothes over my body. He looked so miserable. "I am gonna crash here tonight, is that okay?" He pulled my body to his.

"Yeah, I will sneak you in." he laid his head against my stomach as I ran my fingers through his hair. "We better get going." I said as I helped him off the bed.

I twirled a strand of hair behind my fingers while the teacher went on about science, something I would never understand. I felt my phone start buzzing rapidly in my back pocket. I slowly pulled it out as I seen as the missed texts from Kian.

Come to the bathroom.
Hurry.
I feel sick.
Baby please.
It's an emergency.
Hurry.

I raised my hand as I slid my phone back into my pocket. She instantly knew that i needed to go to the bathroom because i never knew the answer. I walked out of the class, and that's when i seen Kian. He was pacing in front of the bathroom. "Baby, what's wrong?" I said as i instantly wrapped him inside my arms, he laid his head on top of mine. "What happened?" I asked him as I looked into his eyes.

"This girl in my class, the one who always flirts with me, told me that she was gonna tell your dad a bunch stuff. She told me that she would ruin your life, and our life together, until she could have me. I don't wanna lose you baby." He had tears pulling to his pretty brown eyes. "You mean the world to me, and I will always need you by my side. I know no matter if she tells your dad or not, he is gonna find out everything. He will hate me and never want us together. I will have to go back to sneaking into your room just to see your beautiful smile, and I don't want that. I want to scream to the world that you're mine, and I will always that. "

"We will make this work baby I promise. Maybe my dad likes you enough that he wont care about your past or your demons. Maybe he will understand. Maybe he will only want happiness for me, if he loves me he will understand." I wiped away the tears that were slowly down his cheeks. "We are gonna make this work baby. I am not gonna lose you, never will I ever lose you." He kissed the top of my head as his pulled me closer to his body. "I love you baby." We smiled at each other before he kissed me.

"I love you baby girl." He let me go as he started backing away to his class. "I will walk you home, and then we can chill." He smiled at me. That boy had my heart inside the palm of his hands. I didn't wanna lose him. I knew that my dad would kill him if he knew the truth, and every single part of me wanted to hide the truth. I didn't wanna go back to sneaking around. I was so happy that i could tell everyone he was mine, and I didn't want to hide him anymore. I wanted to spend every moment of my day with him, i am selfish because i will always want him to myself.

"Thank you for coming back to class." My teacher said as i walked back into the room. She let out a long sigh. "You were gone for almost ten minutes." She lowered her glasses on her nose.

"Not all of us have went through menopause yet, so it is normal to have periods." Everyone's mouths dropped to the floor because i was always the quiet one. She rolled her eyes before turning back to the board.

"That was impressive." The boy beside of me whispered as i sank down into my chair. The boy beside me never talked to anyone out side of the popular kids. He was attractive, but his personality destroyed him.
