After a few days, I awoke to a miraculous recovery. Unfortunately, my sudden healing came with a price. Hiyoko and Ibuki were both murdered in cold blood, us forced to investigate and accuse one of our friends of acquitting such a heinous crime. As difficult as it was, we eventually figured it out.
Mikan did it.
I watched in horror as she was executed in front of my eyes, the nurse who had usually cared for everyone. It didn't make sense for her to go crazy like that. If despair had the power to move her like that, I could only fear what else it could do.

"Where are you headed?"
I froze dead in my tracks and turned my head to find Hajime stepping out of his cottage, a confused look on his face. I smiled coyly, unsure of how to respond. While it was after the nighttime announcement, I truthfully just wanted to go lay in the grass on the central island and gaze up at the stars. They were so huge and clear on this island, it was almost surreal.
"Um... honestly, I just want to go look at the stars," I admitted candidly, laughing nervously. Hajime nodded, quickly grabbing his shoes before running to catch up to me.
"Let me come with you," he pleaded. I complied, and we walked around the island and across the bridge in relative silence. The only sounds between us were the scraping of our shoes across the gravel, the chirping of crickets, and the crashing of waves.
"Sure is peaceful.." he murmured in a low voice. I nodded, arriving at a clear patch of grass with plenty of room for the both of us. I quickly collapsed down onto it, my aching bones relieved to make contact with the ground. Hajime followed suit, sitting down right next to me.
I lied down, taking in the beautiful night sky above me. All of the stars were a beautiful milky white, completely clear and bright. Up against the deep purple sky, it made a striking combination. And to top it all off, a beautiful full moon sat in the corner of my eyes.
"This is something else..." Hajime sighed in a flabbergasted voice.
I extended my arm out in front of me, reaching for the stars. While I knew I'd never grab them, there was still a childlike hope in me that I would. "Mhm."
He let out a small laugh. "I almost wish we wouldn't ever have to leave this island. Despite the whole killing thing, it's really beautiful and there are some amazing people here."
"Oh? Like who?" I asked, a small laugh escaping with my response.
"Well... like you, honestly," Hinata chuckled. My face turned bright pink at his words, but he thankfully didn't catch it. I opened my mouth, no words coming out for me to offer as a response.
"You're awesome, too," I replied. I silently began to hope that a shooting star would appear overhead, as I wanted to wish that none of this ever happened and my classmates and I were able to meet on normal terms.
"I almost think I can see the Big Dipper," Hajime giggled, trying to change the subject. I turned my head slightly and saw him pointing up at the sky. "That's the handle... and that's the spoon, over there."
Subconsciously, I inched slightly closer towards him. I watched his chest rise and fall with his breath, moving at a slow yet methodical rhythm.
"I wish I knew more constellations," I murmured. "That would make stargazing more fun."
"Well, I'm having some fun right now." He exclaimed. "This sure beats remaining cooped up in that cottage all day!"
"Yeah..." I agreed. I fell silent for a few minutes, taking in the sky above me. Hajime went silent, too, and I almost feared that he had fallen asleep.
Slowly, I noticed something block my vision. Hajime was leaning over me, his face illuminated by the moonlight. I became flustered by his close proximity as he put his hands on either side of me. Slowly, I watched as he drew in closer, closing his eyes and opening his mouth.
And then, it happen. His lips gingerly made contact with mine, breaking into a soft kiss. We continued to kiss for a few minutes, my hands wrapping around his shoulders. When he pulled away, a small triumphant smirk sat on his lips. I was admittedly excited, until I realized the gravity of the situation.
"That was my first kiss..." I admitted, my cheeks tingling pink.
"Well, did you like it?" He questioned innocently.
"Y-yeah..." I smiled. I stood up slowly, blood rushing to my legs. He stood up too, and we stood facing each other.
"Do you want to have your second kiss?" He asked deviously, drawing in closer to me. I nodded, and we began to kiss again in the standing position.
"Upupupupupu!" A familiar voice chuckled. We quickly parted and found Monokuma standing nearby. "What are you two horny kids doing out past nighttime?!"
"Stargazing," I murmured meekly.
"Looks like more than that!" The bear erupted into a full out roar. "You better head to bed, now! Last thing we'd want is another murder happening so soon!"
And with that, the bear disappeared. Hajime smiled at me as we walked back to the cabins hand in hand.
When we arrived, he drew in closer to me again. He planted a quick kiss on my lips, holding me tight as to not let go. "I'll see you tomorrow..."
"yeah... that was fun..." I grinned as I stood up on my tippy toes to give him a final kiss on the cheek. I turned to head back into my cottage, locking the door behind me.
That was the end of that, right?
Well, no, it wasn't. Komaeda had been watching our later exchange through his window, as I soon found out. And he was not pleased.
((Hahahahaha its 4am and I wanted to write fluff!!!))
