Chiaki Ending

"...I choose Chiaki."

Both boys looked at each other in disbelief, before turning to look back at me, their mouths hung open in surprise.

"What!?" Hajime exclaimed, his green eyes widened in shock.

"I... I don't understand," Komaeda muttered.

Yes, Chiaki. To tell the truth, while the two boys were busy fighting for my affections and interests, I came to the realization that Chiaki was the one I wanted to be with. Spending time with her during our free time made me realize just how much I had grown to care for the gamer, and how I couldn't imagine a life without her.

"You don't need to," I replied, nodding my head calmly. "I appreciate both of you, I really do. And I love you both as friends. But this is the decision I have made, so please respect it."

Before they had a chance to respond, I began to walk off, leaving the two boys in my wake. I immediately headed to the hotel, when I saw a familiar face sitting at one of the tables, intensely focused on the gaming system in her hand. My heart skipped a beat as I saw her, and yet I still approached, trying not to disturb her.

After a moment, she let out a small sigh. "Ah, game over again..." she muttered, before looking up at me. "Oh, hi, (y/n). How can I help yo-"

Before she had a chance to finish her sentence, I leaned in slowly and pressed my lips onto hers, engaging in a passionate kiss. The gamer kissed back, wrapping her arms around my neck.

When I pulled away, I noticed her face was flushed bright pink. She stood up slowly, her gaze never leaving mine.

And then, to my surprise, she kissed me.

Once we finished, she had a small smile on her face, holding me in her soft embrace.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that for," I whispered, running my fingers through her short hair.

"(Y/n)... you amaze me every day with your hope and talent... I could say the same to you," Chiaki murmured, burying her face in my shoulder. "I'm not good at dating sims, or those types of games in general, but you make me feel like it's all ok..."

"Chiaki, it's ok, I like you for you," I insisted, tightening my grip on her and giving her a reassuring squeeze. "I was wondering if you would let me have the honor of being your girlfriend?"

Chiaki suddenly planted a kiss on my cheek, causing my face to heat up in response.

"There's nothing I would love more, (y/n)."
