friday night

its friday night and as a number of former new directions and warblers are in town they are all gping out for dinner and then to a cocktail bar.

rachel stood looking at herself in her mirror the last whe had really done that had been the night of the tony awards in other words the night she had left jessie.

" rachel are you ready" sebastian asked through the door

" yeah just coming" rachel said walking to her door she opened it to find sebastian stood outside it.

" oh wow..um..you look nice... really nice actually" sebastian said

" thank you" rachel said blushing slightly at his compliment

" we should get going" sebastian said and headed to the front door as rachel followed once on the side walk sebastian hailed a cab and told the drive where to go.

" should be a fun night" sebastian said

" yeah especially with santana drinking" rachel said

" oh really is she a funny drunk then" sebastian asked

" yeahshe is a weepy hysterical drunk brittany turns into a stripper quinn gets angry blaine becomes straight after a few drinks " rachel said giggling at the end

" what" sebastian asked

" in high school i had a house party and we were all pretty drunk nd we played spin the bottle and he and i kissed and he questioned his sexuality " rachel said

" damn you must be a good kisser" sebastian said 

" think it was the drink" rachel said they sat in silence until they reached the restaurant they were meeting the others at as rachel stepped out of the taxi.

" hey girl" mercedes said

" mercedes" rachel exclaimed

" hey girl i was in town to record a track for my album" mercedes said.

" thats amazing" rachel said hugging her

" yeah do i even have to ask you to duet" mercedes said

" are you serious" rachel asked

" you bet i am" mercedes said

" hey" artie said arriving

" you guys dont know how much it means to me you been here" rachel said

" which is why we expect a cocktail on you later" santana said as she got out of a cab

" shall we head in" artie asked

" sure" sebastian said and they all walked in and saw kurt and blaine and trent sat talking at a table

" hey guys" sebastian said and the three of them stopped talking

" hey guys come on sit down" kurt said smiling rachel sat down next to kurt and sebastian sat down next to her.

" you look amazing" trent said

" thank you" rachel said blushing

over the next fifteen the rest of them arrived and were sat talking

" so blaine and i have a surprise for you all" kurt said

" your adopting " brittany said getting excited

" no thats not the surprise brittany thought when we do it will be amazing anyway the surprise is after we have been to the cocktail bar anf maybe a club we thought you all could crash at ours blaine makes a cracking breakfast" kurt said

" do you think thats a good idea" thad asked. odding towards rachel

" you mean because of the jerk we will all be there more fool him if he turns up" santana said

" santana is right rachel cant not go to her best friends apartment because of him" sebastian said

" see even fivel agrees" santana said

they ordered they food and carried on talking

" so i thonk im gonna stay in new york permanently" puck said

" seriosuly thats great" rachel said

" yeah im done cleaning pools  i thought i might become a gigolo" puck said

" just for woman" trent asked

" yeah" puck said

" shame" trent said quietly

" i would like to make a toast" hunter said they all picked up their glasses

" too true friendship too been there when one of us needs us we should make a promise to be there when anything happens to any of us and we need each other. rachel i wish you a happy life from now on" hunter said.

" well said" nick said

" here here" jon said

" so this cocktail bar we are hitting later does it sell beer cause i aint the type of dude who can rock bright pink drinks" puck said

" yes they sell beer" nick said

" good" puck said

" oh please i guarantee after three beers you will be begging the bartender to put an umbrella in your next pint" quinn said

" im pretty fond of a cocktail " thad said

as they walked down the street to the cocktail bar which was only three blocks away they were all laughing and joking about rachel felt relaxed.

"im starting with a strawberry daiquiri " trent said

" me too" rachel said as trent linked her arm

" so rachel you were telling me about how some of the group were when they were drunk i cant help but wonder what type of drunk are you" sebastian asked walking next to her.

" well blaine's case im not that fussy whether a guy is straight or not" rachel said with a giggle

" i see " sebastian said

" what about you" rachel asked

"i have been told that i am... " sebastian started to say

" he becomes really soppy its so cute. " trent said

" im not soppy" sebastian said

" oh please smythe you omce told a woman her dress should thank her for wearing it" hunter said

" a d what is wrong with that" sebastian asked

" she was wearing a pant suit and she was a police officer" nick said

" sou ds like its going to be an interesting night" santana said
