He handed the phone back and went to the door calling Rebel, Olivia watched him and knew the conversation had effected him. She had the overwhelming urge to go to him and offer comfort. Shaking her head she watched him and continued talking to Georgia. After a few minutes she noticed how he had his head down, almost like he didn’t know what to do, the rain had slowed to a sprinkle so she ended the call and walked out to where Xander was walking Rebel. As she approached him she gently laid her hand on his arm, waiting until he looked over at her.

   “Xander, are you alright?”

“Yeah I’m ok, just thinking. She wants to meet for lunch here in town when the rain stops. Just not sure I’ll know how to react to them…”

“ I’m sure it will be hard at first, but you’ll know what to do when the time comes. They are both nice people, and really want to know you.”

“I’m sure they are, it’s just ….. Over whelming I guess. Yesterday I only had an Aunt, who was like a mother. Now I not only have an Uncle that could be my father, but a brother and sister too….”

Livie didn’t think about what she was doing , she just slipped her arms around his waist, just to offer comfort. He was shocked at first but slid his arms around her and pulled her close. She felt so good here in his arms, she fit perfectly. He wanted so badly to kiss her, but would wait, she was offering him comfort not herself. At that moment she tilted her head up at him and smiled. He groaned silently, know he didn’t have the strength to hold back. Looking down at her, he whispered “Can I kiss you?”

Olivia stared into his eyes and nodded her head. Slowly he lowered his head , when his lips finally touched hers, he was dumbfounded. Kissing her was magic, he couldn’t think, all he could do was feel the explosions going off inside himself. When they drew apart he started into her eyes and wondered if his reflected the dazed look in hers. She whispered “Wow” then pulled his head down and kissed him again. It was like fireworks on the forth of July, she had never felt that in a kiss. Never felt safe and content when a guy put his arms around her. She felt him deepening the kiss and opened up to him, amazed at the tingling going through her body. She arched into him and moaned, just as the rain started pouring again. They broke apart and stood in the rain holding each other, finally he whispered “ We better get out of this rain, I don’t want you to catch cold Beautiful.”

“ Yeah we probably should go inside. Rebel, time to go in.”

Keeping their arms around each other, they slowly walked through the rain and into the house. Once they were inside Olivia smiled and squeezed her arm tighter  around his waist, then let go and said “ I’m going to go change.”

“Me too. How about when were done, I make some hot cocoa?”

      “Sounds great, I’m cold.”

He watched her as she walked away,  frozen to his spot. She was so beautiful and sweet and funny. After she closed his door, he went up to his room to change into something warm.

Olivia couldn’t stop smiling as she changed, picking up her phone she called Georgia. Hoping her friend wouldn’t be furious, she may have been kissing her brother. When Georgia answered she said “ Georgie, what have I gotten myself into?”

     “What do you mean Liv?”

“Well after you talked to Xander, I was watching him outside and could tell he was having trouble dealing with everything. So when I hung up with you I went out to check on him. I hugged him offering comfort , then he asked if he could kiss me. I couldn’t speak and then when he kissed me, oh when he kissed me… it was wow, I’ve never felt anything like that Georgie.”

“You kissed Alexander? And it was ‘Wow’”

“Oh Georgie, it was so much more than ‘Wow’, we were standing in the rain and I couldn’t feel it. It’s like we were the only two people in the world. When we broke off the kiss it had starting pouring rain again, and his only concern was getting into the house so I wouldn’t catch cold.”

“That’s great Liv.  So what are you doing on the phone with me, instead of down there with him?”

“ I guess I just wanted to make sure this is ok?”

“ Olivia of course it is! Get back down there girl.”

Olivia was smiling as she hung up the phone, I was silly to think she would be mad. As she walked out the door , she ran into Xander’s chest. He laughed and wrapped his arms around her to steady her.

   “Livie, are you alright?”

    “ Just distracted is all.”

“ Hmm… wonder what could have you distracted.”

Olivia blushed, looking up into his eyes she slipped her arms around his neck, pulling his head down to kiss him. After a few minutes she pulled back and whispered “ That’s what has me distracted.”

“ I’m glad it’s distracting you beautiful. I know this wasn’t the best way to meet, but I’m glad we did.”

“Your right it wasn’t the best way, but I’m glad too.”

“ So how about we go down and relax by the fire? We could watch a movie or something?”

     “ That sounds wonderful Xander.”
