Caleb kept pushing me through the woods, a pocket knife that he had was pressed between my shoulder blade, making me walk forward. The leaves on the ground crunched under my feet, but we kept walking. After what felt like hours, Caleb took the blade away from my back and pushed me to the ground, making me sit so my back was leaning against a tree. I glanced around. We were at the second water pump, with a familiar metal water basin. The trees around it had been cleared, leaving a small clearing. I looked up at Caleb. He retired the rope he had around my wrists, so it was tied around the tree, keeping me In place. I tried to say anything, even though I had the rag around my mouth. It didn't work. Caleb sat down, leaning his back against a tree across from me. I glared at him, and he sighed, rubbing his temple.

"I don't want to do this you know. I really don't" He said, tracing the tip of his finger with his blade. He didn't look at me, just focused on the ground in front of him. I tried to pull my hands out of the rope, but all I did was scrape my arms on the tree bark. He groaned, leaning his head back so it leaned against the tree.

"He's making me do it." He muttered. I turned my head to the side. Wait, what? Was he talking about Tyler? I could feel my jaw tense up, and glared at Caleb. He looked at me, but his eyes looked empty. Shoot. Tyler must have used what was left in the vial on him. His eyes kept darting around, like he was expecting something to happen at any moment.

"Don't hurt me please." He whimpered, putting his head in his hands.

"It's not my fault. I'm sorry. It's not my fault." He whispered, rocking back and forth. Okay, by now, I was creeped out. His hair was matted to his forehead with sweat, and the veins on his neck were popping out. He looked terrified...or maybe angry? Maybe both.

"Em, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what's going to happen. Remember that, okay?" He said, his voice muffled through his hands. He pryed his hands away from his face and looked at me.

"I'm sorry. For you and Newt." He mumbled. I sat up a bit, and tried to pull my hands out of the rope but I couldn't, and all I did was struggle for a second to stand up. I gave up on that idea, but I kicked a rock at Caleb, and tried to talk through the gag. I tried to ask him to let me go, but it just came out as a mumble. He shook his head and stood up, running his hands through his hair. He shouted and kicked a tree, pressing his hands to his eyes.
"Hes gonna kill me, hes gonna kill me." He muttered. I raised an eyebrow at him. He peeled his hands away from his face and looked around, his eyes darting between trees. He stopped moving, and turned his head to the side, as if he was listening for something. I focused my ears too, straining to hear over the rustling leaves. Then, I heard it, The faint chatter of voices from nearby. Calebs expression dropped, and he scrambled to sit down in front of a tree. He pulled out his pocket knife and started fidgeting with it, like he was trying to act normal. He took a deep breath and erased all traces of fear from his face. He plastered a small, evil grin on his mouth just as two figures came stomping in through the trees. Tyler had a hand clamped around newts arm, guiding him trough the trees into a small clearing. Newt had his hands tied behind his back and a gag tied around his mouth, just like me. Tyler shoved him to the ground and started tying him to the tree. His blonde hair hung in his face, almost covering his eyes. I pulled against the rope tying me to the tree, shredding the skin on my hands. I had to get to him, he must be so confused. Shuck, even I'm really confused. Tyler finished tying his hands and walked over to Caleb. They glanced at both of us before turning their backs on us, whispering. I turned back to Newt, and felt a stab of pain in my heart when there was a bruise on the side of his jaw. His sweater was crumpled and had shifted so I could see his shoulder. His hair was tousled, and he looked bad, like he had been in a fight. Knowing Tyler though, it's not that hard to believe. I tried once again to stand up and pry my hands out of the ropes, but I stayed stuck to the tree. Tyler and Caleb came back around to us, and the boys glared at me. I looked back and forth between them, feeling panic flare up in my chest. Tyler folded his arms over his chest and started pacing back and forth, very slowly. Every step he took was like we were a step closer to our death sentence. He kicked a rock with the toe of his shoe, his gaze locked on the ground. Step. Kick. Step. Kick. Thud. The rock hit the tree right next to me and I flinched, trying to move over to the side. Tyler turned and stared at me, his eyes narrowing into slits underneath his curly black hair. He stopped pacing and looked down at me. He walked over slowly, and crouched down in front of me. I flattened myself against the tree trunk, trying to get as far away from his ugly sneer and awful breath as I could. He set his elbow on his knee and leaned forward. I glared at him and he chuckled, looking over his shoulder and glancing at Caleb and Tyler.
"Such a shame, huh. She just had to love the British boy." He smirked. Newt pulled on the ropes in protest, but Tyler rolled his eyes and Turned back to me. He reached forward, hooking his thumb around my ear and turning my head from side to side. I pulled my head away from him, gritting my teeth and glaring at him again. He shook his head and reached forward, but this time resting his hand under my jaw and turning my face to look at him. He studied my face a second before leaning forward and kissing my cheekbone, right above the fabric wrapped around my face. I shuddered and tucked my knees up to my chest. I glanced Tyler's shoulder at Newt, who was pulling on the rope tying him to the tree. His eyebrows were creased on his forehead. Tyler leaned back on his heels for a second, before stroking his chin.
"Hm. You know, maybe I should take that gag off your mouth. I can't kiss you like this." Tyler smirked and leaned forward. He hooked his thumb under the fabric and slowly tugged it off my face so it was hanging around my neck.
"Yeah, There we go." He said, licking his lips. I shuddered and tried to shift my hair so it was covering my face. He leaned forward and tried to kiss me. I threw my head towards him, and my forehead connected with his nose. He staggered back a bit, clutching his face. I glared at him.
"Shuck off." I muttered. Tyler pulled his hand away from his face, and a small blood spot stained the middle of his palm. Blood dropped down from his to his upper lip. He glanced at his palm, then wipe his nose of the back of his hand. His face flushed red and he looked ready to kill me. He stomped towards me, and sliced the ropes that had been tied around my wrist. He slapped me across the face and I sat there stunned.
"Get up." He ordered. I sat there, clutching my cheek and looking at Newt. Tyler grabbed onto my arm and yanked to my feet.
"I said get up!" He shouted, and I tried backing away from him. Tyler grabbed my elbow and pulled me closer to him. I kicked his leg. He shrunk back, his hand instinctively going down to hold his shin. He motioned over his shoulder to Caleb.
"Get her, idiot!" He shouted. Caleb looked back and forth between us before trudging over and grabbing my arm. Tyler wiped his nose and glared at Newt.
"Why do you even like her!? She's violent!" He shouted. Newt rolled his eyes, and I scoffed.
"Yeah, im violent, not you. Tying us to tree and hurting us isn't violent at all, is it shuckface." I mumbled.  He turned and glared at me.
"Alright, you know what? I was gonna smack you once or twice and let you go, but now you're getting on my nerves." He muttered. He walked over, grabbed my arm and pulled me away from Caleb, across the clearing, towards the water pump. I tried to free myself from his grip, but he threw me to the ground. I crawled back away from him as he kept walking forward. My back hit the giant metal bucket and Tyler bent down, grabbing my by the shirt.
"You're gonna regret every crossing me." He said, his awful breath making me want to gag. I spit in his face and he reeled back, his face twisting up in even more anger than before. He picked me up and slammed my back against the metal bucket, but pushed me back more so my head was dunked under the water. He was trying to drown me. I wasn't expecting it, and I didn't get a breath before he started to strangle me. His hands wrapped around my neck, and I couldn't breathe. The water forced it's way down my throat when I tried to scream, and I started choking. I flailed my arms around, trying to get his hands off of me. I finally found his hand, and tried punching it, but he kept holding onto my neck, forcing me to stay underwater. He was going to kill me. Maybe this was WICKEDS plan. Maybe Tyler was how I'm supposed to die. If I keep struggling though, he might hurt Newt, so what choice do I have? I let him kill me, maybe it saves Newt. I know what happens when I 'die' anyways. If it protêts newt, he can kill me. I opened my eyes, a calm feeling settling on me like a blanket. I stopped struggling, my eyes focusing on the trees above me, even though the vision was blurry through the water. I let my eyes close, all of the energy suddenly gone from my body. Suddenly, another set of hands wrapped around my shoulders. I was pulled out of the water and thrown to the ground, I to a mud puddle. I coughed up water, trying to get as much of it out of my lungs as I could. Newt was crouched in front of me, his arm thrown over my shoulders. I kept coughing, my hair stuck to my face and shoulders, but I didn't care. Newt put his hands on my shoulders, then ran them over my neck and arms, checking for injuries. I'm fine, I think. Newt asked if I was okay and I nodded, but I then proceeded to cough up even more water. Very reassuring. Newt frowned and stood up, his hands balled into fists at his side.
"What the bloody hell was that?" He shouted, shoving Tyler in the chest. Tyler stumbled backwards but put his hands up in defense.
"Hey man, I didn't mean it. It was a joke, I was gonna stop."
"Just a joke? Ya could've bloody killed her!" Newt shouted, pulling his arm back and punching Tyler square in the jaw. The taller, black haired boy reeled back, his hand reaching up to his face, and he looked stunned, but he recovered quickly, and he reached back and punched Newt. He was definitely stronger than The British boy, and he knew it. Tyler tackled Newt to the ground, and they rolled around in the dirt for a moment, the sound of punches and slaps echoing throughout the trees. I pushed myself up onto my shaky arms.
"Stop," I tried to say, but my voice was raw from being suffocated. It came out as a hoarse whisper. The two boys kept fighting, Tyler sitting on top of Newts chest, punching in the face.
"Stop!" I said a bit louder, tears forming in my eyes. I pushed myself up onto my feet.
"Tyler, get off of him!" I said loudly. Tyler stood up, wiped the blood spilling from his busted lip off onto his hand, and kicked Newts side. Newt groaned and curled up, protecting the spot Tyler had kicked. I started crying.
"Tyler, leave him alone!" I shouted. The boy looked at me, an evil glint in his eye before he shook his head. My heart sank and he turned back to Newt, kicking his side again. I screamed, trying to run forward when arms grabbed my arms, holding me back.
"Don't" Caleb warned. I shouted, trying to throw myself at Tyler while he kicked Newt. After each thud Newt groaned and I sobbed. I screamed, m'y throat already sore, but that was my Newt. He was hurting my Newtie. After a bit, Tyler stopped, taking a step back, away from Newt. His gaze landed on the ground he wiped sweat off of his forehead. I tore myself from Calebs grip and ran over to Newt, crouching down next to him. I sobbed, the tears landing on the dirt beneath me. He looked so hurt. Broken. His lip was bleeding, bad, and he had a big purple bruise forming on his cheekbone. His hair and sweater were even more messed up than before, and he just laid on the ground, his eyes closed and his chest heaving. I crawled over to him and pulled his head into my lap. He didn't even seem to notice, just kept taking ragged breaths. I brushed his hair off of his face, hoping he would wake up, but he didn't. I lost it. I started screaming, swearing at Tyler, who just turned and dissapeared into the woods, and Not long after Caleb left. I hugged Newt, not sure what else to do. I laid next to him, his head propped up on my arm, and cried, my other arm slung across his chest. After about half an hour of sobbing, I hear shouts, and boys came charging through the trees. Minho, Gally, Zart and Alby glanced around the clearing, their eyes immediately stopping on me and Newt.
"Zart. Medjacks, now." Alby ordered, and the boy sprinted away. All three of the remaining boys ran over to us, and Alby immediately started checking Newt for any serious injuries. Minho knelt down next to me and pulled me into his lap, wrapping his arms around me and stroking my hair. I wrapped my arms around him, wanting to wake up. I want to wake up, to find out that this was all a dream. I buried my face in his shirt and cried a bit.
"What the shuck happened, em? You're shaking, and you're covered in mud. And Newt..." his voice trailed off and I shook my head. I didn't want to explain.
"Was it Tyler?" I heard Gally ask. I nodded, and he grunted, nodded, and stormed off into the trees. Alby watched him go and then turned back to me and Minho. Nobody said anything else until the medjacks came, and even then, I didn't say anything, just watched them put him on a stretcher, and walked back to the medjack hut holding Newts hand.
