Chapter 13 - Witch Quest part 1

Nadia POV

My teammates and I came back to school after the quest. I went to Mrs. Magi to get points. She folded her arms, staring at mom looking at the notice board.

"Mrs. Toski never goes to Koneko Tribe for quests" she rubbed her chin.

I took what she said to my thoughts. She's right. My mom might be specieist...or something or just avoiding someone.

I headed to my mom and folded my arms."Mom, why you don't go to Koneko Tribe?" I asked.

She blushed extremely, ignoring my question. "You ask too much questions" she glared at me.

"Mom....you are hiding something" I said, looking at her worriedly.

"I wouldn't say hiding" she shrugged.

"Come with me to a quest in Koneko Tribe" I sighed.

"No!.....I mean I'm busy" she smiled nervously.

I glared at her.

"Fine, anything for you" she sighed.

"My friends and I found this new quest about the witch is turning people into mutated animals," I said in a serious tone, "we are going to have to support Hollis on this quest because.....he had a hard time" I sighed.

"What do you mean by that?" she blinked.

"Nothing!" I smiled nervously.

"You did what?!" Hollis shook me in the school's garden.

"I invited my mom....but don't worry she won't find out you are a Koneko Tribe citizen and it seems she's hiding something" I sighed.

I picked some carrots, washed them and ate one. "She's hiding something and I'm going to find out" I said with food in my mouth.

He looked at me nibbling on the carrot and blushed a little. "I realized you.....love eating carrots" he smiled nervously.

"Yea....it's an addiction since I was a baby" I sighed.

"Yeah" he said, seeming uncomfortable.

"Hollis....I know this quest will be hard for you" I slowly hugged him.

He clenched his fists and covered his eyes with his arm.

"Come on Hollis, lemme see that smile" I smiled softly squeezing his cheeks.

"Nadia stop that" he laughed.

Time skipped.....

Everyone on the team and mom entered through Julee's portal to Koneko Tribe.

"I guess I have to use that spell again" Jayson sighed.

Mom ran at amazing speed then his behind a building. A pair of buuny ears were sticking out. We stared at her.

"Mom, what's wrong?" I said, looking at her worriedly.

"I'm.....going back to the Academy" she sounded like she was crying.

Jayson sighed walking towards her. "Miss...we cant-"

We stared at a pair of rabbit ears on her head.

"Mom....you are one too?" I spoke softly.

"I....just wanted to be a great Fire wizard for my mom. I was tired of picking wheat and doing slavery work" she said, crying harder.

"I know the feeling" Karma sighed.

"Mom that means I'm-"

"-yeah, you are but luckily you weren't born with the ears" mom sighed.

"Mrs. Toski, we won't report you" Blaire smiled nervously.

"Really?" mom said as her ears moved rapidly. She purred clasping her hands together.

"You....are so freaking cute!" Elisa hugged her.

"Get off me!" mom said angrily.

I smiled nervously at Karma and Hollis. "The thing is we have two Koneko Tribe citizens on our team" I laughed nervously.

"What?!" mom trembled, staring at me.

Hollis smiled softly, trying to hide his cat ears and Karma smirked as her fox tail moved.

"Well that explains why Mr. Wagner eats too much fish" she sighed.

"I can't help it" he laughed nervously.

She smiled looking at us. "Thanks for helping my daughter-"

An old lady with rabbit ears tackled her to the floor. "My little bunny is back!" the old lady screamed.

"Mother!" mom glared at her.

"Come on.....hug me back!"

"Mother!"

"Hug me!"

We smiled nervously staring at them. "Hi Miss......" I said scratching behind my head.

"I finally get to see my granddaughter but....I remember seeing you saving the Cat village" grandma rubbed her chin.

"Yeah, that was me" I smiled proudly.

"You are so cute!" she squeezed my cheeks.

"I know right!" I squeezed her cheeks.

"Well...we know where Nadia got her personality from" Jayson said with a bored expression on his face.

A solider came observing the Koneko Tribe citizens if they are doing there job. Mom trembled, staring at him.

"Flora it's okay, he's a nice one. We appreciate what he has done for us" grandma chuckled.

The soldier smiled waving to her. "Mrs. Usagi remember those pastries, I love them so much" he said.

"Yes, I will child" she smiled at him.

Jayson did the spell appearing ears on our heads except Hollis, Karma and mom.

"I love these!" Elisa giggled playing with her dog ears.

I noticed Hollis smiling at me. I smiled back at him.bMom glared at Hollis smiling at me, "Who are you smiling at my daughter?" she folded her arms.

"Mom....he's my boyfriend" I sighed.

"And you didn't tell me?!" she shouted while her ears drooped.

"Because....I forgot?" I smiled nervously.

"But, he's a handsome young man" grandma smirked.

"Is an old lady flirting with you?" Jayson sighed, looking at Hollis.

"Come inside my home, I'll make you all comfortable," she laughed, "especially you" she said, looking creepy holding Hollis hand.

"Help" he trembled.
