Chapter 1 - First Day

Hana POV

I sighed glaring at dad sobbing in the living room over mom leaving to another quest. His cat ears drooped while he ate some sushi.

"Dad....mom needs to save some world, you can't be selfish" I said shaking my head.

"But...." he pouted.

"We don't want Aunt Diana to get mad with you.....she can get angry like grandma" I smiled nervously.

"Yeah, I better get some paperwork done for the new students entering Yōso Academy" he sighed.

"That's better da-"

"Nadia!" he wined.

"Seriously" I sighed.

Time skipped....

I packed my bags for my first day at school at Yōso Academy. Mom begged me to go there to make sure dad is okay and doesn't do anything stupid....well she said it's adorable but I think I'll be embarrassed for life. At least Aunt Diana and Uncle Dillon will be there.

Stop calling them your aunt and uncle it's weird for them....

"But they are!" I wined talking to myself.

Dad entered my room and smiled nervously trying to figure out why I was talking to myself.

"I talk to myself because I'm an only child, you know this" I smirked.

He shook his head and fixed his tie. As usual I had to fix it afterwards because he's not use to ties and suits...he's more use to African like clothes as mom says.

"Thanks my flower" he smiled softly.

"I do this too many times for you dad, try to do it properly for once" I said with a dark ora surrounding me.

"Yes mam" he trembled.

We finally arrived at school and he wore a sunglasses before he entered the school. He says it makes them fear him than calling him adorable but....he's looks even cuter in them like some kitten wearing sunglasses. We entered the school and I struggled carrying my suitcases with him.

"Hi Mr. Yasei" some students smiled waving to him.

"Hi" he said waving back to them and accidentally let go my suitcases causing them to fall on me.

"Dad!" I wined.

He got distracted by the fish meals in the cafeteria and left me.

What you expected from a father who acts like a cat....

A boy smiled nervously helping me with the suitcases, "Um....are you Mr. Yasei daughter?" he asked.

"Yeah, how did you know? Are you a spy? I promise I didn't eat all of the cafeteria food when I was younger!" I said quickly.

"I realized by your cat ears and rabbit tail....." he laughed nervously.

"Oh....sorry bro" I coughed making my voice deeper.

"It's okay," he smiled softly, "I'm Ryan Ross, Earth wizard" he smiled weirdly.

"Cool....ma dog, I'm Hana Yasei, Water wizard....Fireish" I smiled nervously.

"Please stop talking like that" he sighed.

"Isn't that how you guys talk around here?" I asked.

"Nope" he chuckled.

He showed me the girls' rooms and the school facilities. I waved goodbye to him when I finally found my room.

It's messy......

"Great a messy room-!"

"What were you gonna say?" Aunt Diana said raising her eyebrow.

"Aunt Diana......." I laughed nervously.

"Annoying niece" she rolled her eyes.

She took up her clothes even underwear off the floor and threw it on her bed, "There problem solved" she sighed.

"That wasn't-"

"Ugh! Don't tell me...ew that's still nasty!" she said in a annoying voice.

I unpacked my clothes in my bed and placed them in the closet. I looked at the third empty bed in the room. I looked at her and she folded her arms not looking at me.

"That's our other roommate Lily Mizu, some Water wizard that is shy and stuff. She won't talk to me and keep running away from me like some idiot" she puffed her cheeks in anger.

Awe, she wants Lily to be her friend!

I smiled softly at that thought. She glared at me, "What?" she said angrily.

"Nothing my beautiful aunt" I laughed.

"Stop calling me your aunt....it's weird" she smiled nervously.

"But-"

"Call me Diana....god damn it" she mumbled.

"Diana" I sighed.

She blushed extremely not looking at me and trembling, "Ho....how's your mom?" she said in a shaky tone.

"Mom is fine, she's gone on another long quest" I smirked.

"I see.....I guess sis won't be here" she said looking disappointed.

"My mom will be here soon" I said looking at her worriedly.

"She always says that" she said clenching her teeth.

"Diana....." I spoke softly.

She left slamming the door and left the room after Lily entered the room. Lily trembled staring at me.

"Hi" I smiled waving to her.

"Hi....." she spoke softly while her hair covered her right eye.

"That's cute" I giggled.

"I'm sorry if I caused anything" she tried to leave the room but I went in front of the door before she could.

"Lily come on, I'm not gonna hurt you" I smiled nervously.

"I...know but.....please let me leave I have work to do" she said with tears in her eyes.

She pushed me away from the door and opened it. She ran away leaving me alone.

Sigh.....these are my roommates...I got to do something but this....
