Chapter 23 - Exams part 2

I smirked looking at Hollis my opponent in the exams.

He sickens me....

He killed my mother known as the 'witch'. I don't know why she wanted him to be her son so much, I'm better than him!

I wiped my tears that were running down my cheeks. He smiled waving at me.

"Let's give it our all" he smiled softly.

"Tst....you gave it your all when you killed my mom" I mumbled.

"Huh?" he smiled nervously.

I took out a magical gem and smirked at him. He became frightened and walked backwards away from me.

"Awe, you don't want your ears to show up" I chuckled.

"Stop this" he fell on his knees.

I laughing watching his teeth sharpen and his ears appear.

"Now let's turn it up a little" I smiled placing the magical gem in his pocket.

He growled at me and fur appeared on his skin.

"Awe! You look like your father" I said patting his head.

"Stop" he begged.

"This is what you get for killing my mother" I said in a serious tone.

His cat like eyes shun.

"Now, be a good boy and do something for me," I smirked, "kill Mrs. Toski, she has something for my mom a long time ago"

He obeyed my orders and ran to Mrs. Toski.

I'll have revenge for you mom....

Nadia POV

I sighed looking at my burnt hand and found mom talking to Mr. Mizu.

"Leave me alone!" she said angrily.

He held her hand and looked at her angrily. "You had to marry some human" he mumbled.

"At least he wasn't a bitch" she kicked him away from her.

"I just wanted to protect you, I knew you were stubborn so I had to put some restrictions on you" his hair covered his eyes.

"Arlin, leave me alone! I'm with someone already-"

He kissed her on the lips. I ran to them and pushed him away from her, "She belongs with dad! Don't you dare touch her" I cried hugging her tightly.

He froze staring at me, "Then you got a daughter with him.....I confessed too late huh" he chuckled, "Well I'll be going now....and Flora I think you look cute when you are angry....like some rabbit" he blushed extremely walking away from us.

She folded her arms glaring at him.

"Mom....are you okay?" I asked holding her hands.

"Yeah, and thanks" she said smiling a little.

"Anything for my mom!" I smiled proudly.

"Stop being an idiot" she sighed.

I laughing walking with her down the school hallway. She smiled patting my head and wiped my face.

"I hope that Hollis isn't hurting you" she sighed fixing my hair.

"He's not, and mom it's nice you are fixing my hair and acting so motherly" I smirked.

She blushed extremely removing her hand from me, "I'm going to see the other students in their exams" she mumbled not looking at me.

I smiled hugging her and poked her nose. Her nose moved making her look like a rabbit.

"So cute!" I screamed hugging myself.

"Stop that" she glared at me.

I waved at Hollis walking to us. He seemed different looking at mom.

"Hollis, what's wrong?" I smiled nervously.

He aimed his hand at her and controlled water towards her. She blocked it and held his hands.

"What's the meaning of this Hollis?!" she said angrily.

I looked at his eyes and his sharp teeth, "Mom something is wrong with him" I spoke softly.

Her rabbit ears appeared, "It's some magical gem on him" she said searching him.

She finally found a green magical gem and her two front teeth became bigger. Her tail became bigger and caused a hole in her skirt. I quickly threw it away from them and they turned back normal.

"What happened?" he asked looking really terrible.

He fell losing energy from what happened.

"Hollis hold on" I said rubbing his hair.

Mom sighed looking at her clothes. "I can't go like this, I look like some stripper on earth" she smiled nervously.

"Mom, can't you do like magic to appear new clothes on you?" I sighed.

"Only the people from the highest class can do that and remember I'm a Koneko Tribe citizen" she glared at me.

"If you don't mind but I'm in pain over here" he sighed.

"Oh yeah...sorry" mom and I smiled nervously.

We helped him on his feet and mom carried him in her arms. He became disturbed staring at her.

"Hollis I'm helping you so take it" she said looking annoyed.

"Hollis you look so adorable" I smiled.

"Stop calling me that!" he wined.

Mom and I took care of Hollis and I explained to Mrs. Magi a believable story so she can postpone his test.

"Fine....but I wonder where's Ms. Majo, his opponent" she sighed.

I found her looking at Hollis through his bedroom window.

"Hey" I said standing beside her.

"I hope he gets better" she smiled softly.

"Awe, thanks" I said.

She ran to her friends leaving me alone. I entered his room and saw mom folding her arms glaring at him.

"Nadia!" he smiled then hid behind me.

"What did mom do now?" I sighed.

"He won't eat his vegetables" mom said eating the vegetables without realizing.

"But someone is" I chuckled.

She finally realized what she was doing and immediately stopped. "Stop teasing me" she mumbled.

"So cute" I smiled as blood ran from my nose.

"Nadia!" he became frightened and shook me.
