Chapter 51 - Jayson's Brother

Hollis POV

"No!" I heard from Nadia's room in the morning.

I tried to open the door but it was locked. Elisa and Blaire came came from the mall then saw me struggling to get in their room. Elisa took out her key and opened the door with it. We ran inside the room and didn't see any signs of Nadia.

"Crap...." Blaire became really worried.

We heard a baby crying from under Nadia's blanket. The baby looked exactly like Nadia. Elisa found a notice near the window, "It says something about taking Nadia and using her as bait against us Ningenas" she read the note.

"Someone hired that person, I'll get Jayson to break the spell" Blaire ran out of the room.

I took up Nadia and rocked her so she would stop crying but she wouldn't stop. Elisa made funny faces...but it didn't work either. "Nadia seems really scared" she sighed.

Nadia wiped her tears and cried harder, "I don't wanna to be a Great wizard anymore!" she screamed.

Elisa and I froze staring at her trying to come out of my arms. I placed her in her bed and Elisa slept beside her. I watched her fall asleep while sucking her fingers.

Jayson and Blaire finally arrived. He tried to break the spell many times and it didn't work, "This spell has a protection spell on it too" he said angrily.

"I'm sure you can do something" I sighed.

"A protection spell is basically what it says in it's name! I can't break it you idiot," he glared at me, "but.....I can find the person who did it by it's energy source like the smartass I am" he smirked.

"And how is that gonna help?" she said raising her eyebrow.

"If we find him sweetheart we need to defeat him so his magic will disappear" he rolled his eyes.

He held Nadia's hand and his eyes shun, "It's man by the name Marc Lawrence " he sighed.

"Cool, where can we find him?" I asked.

"That's the thing.....we are going to have to search for him. Don't know worry, I know how he looks" he smiled nervously.

We realized he was very timid and not looking at us. He bit his lips and tapped his foot.

"Jayson......are you okay?" she asked looking at him worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm jolly good" he laughed nervously.

"Jayson" we glared at him.

"Fine....he's a very powerful wizard....my...brother" he sighed.

"What?! You....seemed like an only child" I became frightened.

"Well....he's older than me by 20 years, mum had him when she was very young and....he's pretty a bitch to me" he said folding his arms and looked very angry.

"Seriously...what's wrong with your family?" she sighed.

"It's complicated....I guess you have to find someone else since my family is like this" he spoke softly.

"Jayson.....I didn't mean that" she spoke softly.

"Tst....Hollis let's go find him" he said angrily glaring at her.

"Guys...." I sighed.

"Yeah, Jayson the jackass" she glared back at him.

"Well.....Blaire the bloody giraffe" he said in a shaky tone.

"You guys need help" I said shaking my head.

"Shut up!" they said angrily.

"I wish Nadia was here!" I wined.

She ran out of the room and he buried his head in one of Nadia's pillows then screamed in it.

"Jayson....you messed up" I said patting his back.

"I'm such an idiot, idiot idiot idiot!" his accent made me chuckle.

"What?" he wined.

"I'll see what I can do to solve your problem" I smiled softly.

Time skipped....

I went outside Nadia's room and saw Ivan glaring at me. I smiled at him then he glared at me harder.

"Hi...." I smiled nervously.

"Boy who threw an eraser at me" he said angrily.

"I'm sorry, it's just a message not to hit on my girlfriend" I laughed nervously.

He looked at the ceiling then at me, "Where is she?" he asked.

"Um.....doing stuff" I trembled not looking at him.

We heard Nadia crying from her room.

"Why do I hear a baby crying?" he said raising his eyebrow.

I ran to the door and blocked him before he could get in but he kicked me in my stomach and walked over me when I fell to my knees. He stared at her crying and stretching out her hands for me. I picked her up and rocked her in my arms.

"What happened?! You seriously didn't keep an eye on her" he said clenching his fists.

"I....-"

"Let me take her, then you'll see who can protect her" he said taking her from my arms.

She cried harder trying to come back to me.

"Nadia stop crying" he glared at her.

She stopped crying and bit his hand. He released her without realizing and I grabbed her before she reached the floor.

"Nadia....don't bite people" I sighed.

"I don't like him" she sobbed.

"Me too" I pouted and poked her nose.

"Hey!" he said angrily.

I placed her back on her bed. Elisa was still sleeping and even snoring loudly.

"I'm surrounded by idiots" he sighed.

"Could you join us to find someone? She will turn back normal when we defeat him" I smirked.

"Fine, but why me?" he asked.

I smiled pulling out his snake like tongue, "You are going to be our ride" I chuckled.

"This is cruelty!" he wined rubbing his tongue after I released it.
