Chapter 35 - The Results

Hollis POV

Mrs Magi called all students in Yōso Academy for an important meeting in the auditorium.

"Everyone, the spirits have been choosing great wizards without the school board" she sighed.

My schoolmates gasped staring at her.

"Then our exams won't matter anymore?!" a girl asked.

"They still will matter for your graduation," Mrs. Magi smiled nervously, "I'll be calling the students the spirits have chosen" she said boldly.

Everyone became really quite and gave her our full attention.

"Hollis Wagner....Water," she said while I went beside her, "Saffron Gem....Air," she looked at Saffron standing beside me. "Nelson Naver....Light" she smiled softly.

Nelson laughed patting Peter's back, "Congrats" he smiled.

"Oh, Elisa Edwin has gotten great Lightning wizard," she smirked, "Aria Gonzalez you are a great Nature wizard, Trevor Thomas......Metal and......"

I looked at Nadia waiting to hear who's the great Fire wizard. I smiled at her so she can relax. She smiled back blushing a little.

"Zander Garvey" Mrs. Magi spoke softly.

Zander laughed at Nadia when she cried running out of the auditorium, "Is she seriously a great Fire Wizard daughter?!" he laughed harder.

Some other Fire wizards joined laughing with him.

"Go eat some shit Zander because that's what you are" Jayson said angrily.

"I can't believe you got it" Blaire glared at Zander.

"You are all just supporting your friend. She's crap anyway, just admit-"

I controlled water at him and froze his legs. He became really angry melting off the ice.

"This is why Fire wizards hate Water wizards! How did a weak and pathetic person like you is a great Water wizard" he said angrily controlling fire at me many times.

Mrs. Magi separated us and looked at us angrily, "Mr. Wagner I'm disappointed in you!" she folded her arms.

"Sorry" I spoke softly.

"You are really pathetic apologizing to this old woman" he glared at me.

She grabbed his ear and looked really scary glaring at him.

"Sorry" he sighed.

She took out some papers and gave us, "Since you are great wizards, you two and the others have to be a team from now on" she sighed.

"What?!" we became frightened staring at her.

"What....about our teams?" I smiled nervously.

"There will be new students coming in so they will join your teams" she smirked.

I looked at Jayson, Blaire, Julee and Karma.

"We....will be fine" Julee smiled nervously.

"Be the most awesomest wizard" Karma smiled softly.

"Tst......you can leave us" Jayson said not looking at me.

He seemed really pissed off looking at Trevor.

"Next time huh" Trevor smiled softly.

"Whatever" Jayson mumbled.

I heard Natalia crying in the girls' bathroom, "Nadia....please come out" I became really worried about her.

"Go away" she spoke softly.

I opened the door, grabbed her and placed her on my shoulder. I smiled nervously looking at the other girls.

"Um....." I laughed nervously.

"It's okay" they smirked.

I walked to the school garden and placed her on one of the benches.

"Nadia....please stop crying" I said wiping her tears.

She looked really terrible looking at me, "I failed to become a great Fire wizard" she hiccupped.

"It's okay, you can try to become a good teacher like Mrs. Magi" I smiled softly.

"I....want to go home" she said.

"You can stay-"

"I packed my bags already, Mrs. Magi is going to carry me home with mom" her bangs covered her eyes.

"You can't leave!" I held her hands.

"Hollis, don't make this hard for me. You are a great Water wizard....you should focus on saving worlds than me," she smiled a little. She rubbed my hair, "Be a good boy for me" she said as tears ran down her cheeks.

"Nadia, don't leave me.....I'll go with you" I hugged her tightly.

"Hollis stop" she said coldly.

"I won't" I said in a shaky tone.

She pushed me away from her, "It's for your own good" she walked off.

I clenched my fists while tears ran down my cheeks.

"Hollis.....why are you crying?" Amethyst came from the school field looking at me worriedly.

I wiped my tears, "It's nothing" I spoke softly.

"Hollis, I'm really worried....you normally be smiling or acting shyly" she glared at me.

"I'm fine"

"Your not!" she grabbed my hand.

"Leave me alone" I said.

She looked at me angrily but some schoolmates were looking so she released me.

"Hollis I'm going have to tell your friends" she sighed.

I walked away ignoring her.

Nadia is leaving.....
