"Kahit gumastos ako, mapahiya ako, or kahit samaan mo ako ng tingin... Hindi ako titigil."-Alex
"Ano bang problema mo, Alex?!"
"Wala akong pakialam kung tatlong araw mo na akong sinasagot ng 'no'. I won't stop until you say yes."-Alex
I rolled my eyes. "Then do whatever you want." I replied and walked away from him with the rose and teddy bear on hand. Pangatlong teddy bear na to ah? Pare pareho pa. Saan niya yun ninanakaw? "I wanted more teddies, but I can't believe magkakaroon ako ng tatlo. I feel bad na tuloy."
Tuloy tuloy lang ako sa paglalakad at hindi na muling lumingon pa! The girls were snickering at me, while the boys were smiling proudly! Bakit naman kaya ganyan sila makangiti? It's not like I'm going to say yes to them once they ask me as well. Well, I'm not! Kahit sino pa yan! Si Alex nga na crush ng karamihan...
Thursday.
Nakahinga ako ng malalim after seeing that the school yard was empty. Wala na yung madaming tao. Tumigil na siya. Mabuti naman, dahil mapapagod lang yun! Pagod na nga ata eh! Hindi na gumawa ng scene sa school.
"Nakasimangot! Umasa ka noh?!"-Ella
"Huh? Sinasabi mo diyan Ella?" Kunot noo kong tingin. "Nasaan sila Fille at Shiela?"
"Volleyball practice."-Ella
"Hindi ka sumali?"
She shook her head in response. I tried looking at her phone at kaagad naman niyang itinago iyon. She frowned at me.
"Why don't you attend the prom with Alexander?"-Ella
"You know I'm not fun of going to parties!"
"I know. Pero three days mo na siyang pinapahiya."-Ella
I shrugged. "He's the one who's embarrassing himself, not me."
"Well, you should have at least acknowledging his effort!"-Ella
"Anong effort dun? Ang pagbibigay ng bulaklak at teddy bear saakin?" I asked, "Getting everyone's attention early in the morning? Putting me into something I hate the most?"
"Blah blah blah blah... ego ego ego." Ella said and stopped in front of me. "Kung ayaw mo sakanya just tell him while you guys are in front of many people. Hindi yung pinapaasa mo yung tao."
"Ella, you saw and heard it yourself." I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "I said no for three times already! But he keeps on doing what he's doing!"
"What's your motive, really?"-Ella
"What do you mean?"
She glared, but sighed after a couple of minutes.
"You allowed him to hold your hand, you did not complain when the teacher put you together in gym class. You talked to him like you've never done with other boys before..."-Ella
"I'm talking to him because we are partners and we are assigned to prepare everything for the prom." I explained, "I can't complain because I respect our teachers's decision. And you know I don't like arguing about things like this!"
"Then how can you explain the fact that you allowed him to hold your hand?" She asked raising an eye brow. "Huh?"
Napatingin ako sa aking likuran. Nag umpisa nang dumami ang mga tao sa school.
"Holding hands? Where, when?"
Kinuha niya ulit ang phone niya at pinakita saakin ang isang picture.
