Friday
Last day of second week of August. Tomorrow's Saturday, the next day will be Sunday! And the next day is Monday - senior high's big night. Prom.
"Are you going to the prom?" Asked Fille before I could even sit at my usual spot in the cafeteria. "Don't tell me hindi ka na naman pupunta!"
I shook my head. "No. Hindi pa rin ako pupunta."
"Kalat na kalat na nga!" Sabi naman ni Ella at tumingin sa mga taong nagtitinginan sa pwesto namin. "Girls are asking why you don't want to attend prom. Siguro daw kasi ayaw mong mag ka boyfriend! Or tibo ka daw!"
"Oh? Totoo yung ayaw mag ka boyfriend. Yung tibo naman, ahm! Ang layo po!"
"Nagdududa na din ako Den eh!"-Shiela
"Ako din!"-Fille
"How?" Takang tanong ko naman sakanila. Ako? Tibo? Nope. Not really! I do have girl crushes Pero not in a way na gustong gusto ko sila. Crush Lang. "Did you see me staring at some hot chick?"
"One time! Laura's ass!"-Ella
Shiela laughed! "Totoo! Remember when we were at the cheerleading squad team? Kaya ka siguro nag quit noh? You were falling for Laura!"
"Hahaha! Funny!" I rolled my eyes in a sarcastic way. "I told you! I was just insecure that she has a big fine sexy ass!"
"Yes! And you wanted to squeeze them! As far as I can remember!"-Fille

I almost chocked on my food. Ella glared at Shiela who already put her bag in front of her. Tumingin ako sakanya at muntik nang sabihin na siya din naman, flat! Lol.
"Palalampasin kita ngayon!"-Ella
"Hahaha! Sorry na! I'm just stating..."-Shiela
"Sige! Sige!"-Ella
I shook my head in amusement. Tumingin ako kay Fille at tumawa kami ng pasikreto. The two stopped from arguing and continued to eat. Yumuko ako at saka kumain na ng lunch ko.
Habang nakayuko ay nakaramdam ako ng mainit na hangin sa gilid ko. The atmosphere was warm, and a familiar smell invaded my nose. Shiela and Fille pinched their noses while Ella fanned her nose. Ako deadma.
Sabay sabay kaming lumingon sa kung saan nanggaling ang amoy. It was like I was seeing an invisible smoke trailing Alexander's back. I knitted my brows while watching him walk at the cafeteria's cashier. Basang Basa ang likuran ng uniform niya nang dahil sa pawis. Hawak niya din ang sapatos niya.
"Did he stop bugging you?"-Fille
I nodded. "Yes." And now I know the reason why I didn't see him this morning. Volleyball practice.
