*Alternate reality*
That smell again... It just wafts through the air and almost becomes intoxicating. I looked at Alexis and saw "him" instantly. I know this wasn't normal but I just had this strong feeling of desire. He looked just like "him". He feels like "him"... He smells like "him". I wanted to call him by his name and hold him like before.. "Hey! Listen ! Are you okay ?"
*back to reality*
I snapped out of my trance and said," o..oh sorry about that, haha!" He walked towards me and looked at my hand to see I had a blind fold. I hope he didn't get the wrong idea or anything.
He blushed and started to think about something. He was about to open up his mouth but I interrupted him. "Don't worry. I'm not gonna make a move or anything. But if I were to, I would need more than this.." I said in a deep voice to show my true intentions.
He looked at me with a blank face and immediately started to flip his shit. "Just put the blindfold on for me. Nothing bad will happen. You can trust me...unless you want me to put in on you..."
"O..oh okay. Well lemme put this on!" He put the blind fold over his eyes while still holding his bear. "Just like a butterfly inside a spiders web..." I said under my breathe meant to be only heard by myself. His body tensed up and he had a flustered look.
"What.. what!?" He yelled out in shock of him hearing what I said. "Nothing. Just watching you get so flustered amuses me." I chuckled and led him to the car.
*end of flash back *
"Hey let's go on the Ferris Wheel!" I looked to see Alexis pointed to at the large circular wheel. It wasn't as nice as you think it would be. There were obvious blood stains and only three- fourths of the lights worked. Although it was a nice alternative to having nothing.
He ran over to which I followed him. We got into the ride then it started to slowly rise up every minute. Each minute the wheel echoed and creaked. To normal people it would be a headache but to us. It was a something that brought us joy.
Alexis started to squeal with excitement while having his hands in the air. I laughed for a moment but instantly stopped. The higher and higher we rose the view of the haven was possible. The giant barricades were shifting more and more everyday.
I've always been the type to walk along them and inspect them to just see how much longer they would last. Thanks to my family's money the idea of us having that built was possible. Im surprised at the fact that Alexis didn't notice we were the only ones on here.
I let out a small sigh at how much work I did have to this happen. The higher ups were none to pleased but, when I said Alexis' name they instantly lit up. I wonder what could've convinced them to let us do this. When I think about it, it's the least of our problems.
It's my job to be the representative of "those people". I need to reassure everyone in here that they think they'll be safe but they won't. The walls were getting weaker because of the constant damage inflicted upon them. Those things on the outside are still trying to get in...
When they break through I will protect Alexis at all costs. Looking next to me I saw him smiling and laughing. He was so pure and innocent just like "he" was. It made me think to how in the past we were always together. But I don't think he would ever want to see me again after what I did...
