Chapter 15

I happily watered the pretty roses that were in still in full bloom. Even though it was early November, it was unusually hot. Sweat beads started to flow down my forehead as I watered the last bush of roses. Looking over at the pond nearby, I started to get an idea.

When I tested it's condition it was crystal clear. I took off my gardening gloves and put my hand into the water. It was slightly cold over being warm but it would have to make do.

I placed the gardening supplies back into the storage and took my bear then ran off into the faculty room. Everyone was in there just talking to each other trying to cool off.

"Hey everyone! I have an awesome idea for how we could spend today." Everyone gave me a puzzling look. "We're gonna go swimming!" I shouted.

"Dear, where would we even swim? There isn't any clean pools or beaches around us to go to." Misaki questioned. Oh they had no idea how smart I really am.

"When I was watering the roses, I saw the pond behind me. Then checked it to see that it was crystal clear." I replied. "But none of us have any bathing suits to wear." Aaron replied fanning himself off. With a giant smile April disappeared into the next room and came back with a key.

"Don't worry, it just so happens this school used to have a swim team. We should be able to find some bathing suites in the locker rooms." So we all ended up following April to find bathing suites.

"Well I guess this'll have to do. Even if they're a little tight around my waist" Barry said while trying to adjust himself. I let out a snicker since my swim suit was slightly too big for my hips. Aaron came from outside to take us to the pond where the girls were waiting.

"So who's gonna be the first one to jump in?" April questioned in a daring way. No one was stepping forward to jump so I had to do it. Placing my bear somewhere nearby, I ran and jumped into the pond. When the water hit my body it was so refreshing. The water was cool and fun to splash around in.

"My turn next!" April screamed then jumped right after me. Then Aaron jumped in next while Barry and Misaki slowly eased their way in.

"Wow you're right, Alexis! The water feels amazing in this kind of hot weather." April said then splashed me with some water. I laughed then splashed her back. After we ended up in a splashing competition with each other. Aaron laughed while watching us. So then I got close to April to whisper something to her.

" On the count of three. Lets pick up Aaron and throw him into the deeper end of the pond." April nodded and we pretended to fight each other. As we splashed, we got closer and closer towards Aaron. Then I mouthed to the count of three and we grabbed Aaron. "Three!" We picked him up into the air and threw him. "Ahhh!"

April and I high fived in victory of what we did.   Misaki and Barry laughed at Aaron who had a really salty look on his face. "Hey April, I bet if we put Aaron into a lake. It would turn into the sea because he's so salty!" I joked which made her laugh more since it was just bad.

"Ahhhh!" I looked up to see Aaron coming at me. I started running around the pool screaming for my life. He chased me non stop around until he tackled me into the water. "Help meh! The sea witch from that Disney movie got me!" I screamed while pretending to struggle.

"Hey guys look up here!" We both looked up to see April with the hose in her hand. Aaron and I both scrambled to make run for it. But it was too late to even bother. She shot us both full of ice cold water and won whatever battle we were having.

I wondered over to Misaki who was wearing a one piece bathing suit. "How are you darling?" I told her I was having lots of fun. "Come here child. Let me fix that hair of yours real quick." Misaki said. I came close to her then sat up right in front of her.

She started fixing my hair with her hands while softly humming. Misaki always had a very soothing voice when she would hum or sing. I've always felt calm whenever she would take care of me like this. "There, now I'm all done." She said happily. I looked down at the waters clear reflection to see she had put flowers into my hair.

"It's so pretty! Thanks so much Misaki." I turned to both Barry and Aaron to see what they would think. "Hey look at what Misaki did my hair." They both blushed and stared at me for a few seconds. "Well I think you look really cute!" April chimed. Eventually the both of them said I looked good which made me happy,

Later that night

Aaron's POV

"I..I don't want to take a shower in front of you guys.." Alexis said shyly while we in the locker room of the school. "It's gonna be okay Alexis. You don't have to be shy around me." I told him placing a hand on his shoulder.

"O...okay.. Please don't stare." I smiled and turned on the water for us. I don't want him to be scared of letting me see his more vulnerable side. After he removed his towel I could see his beautiful body again.

"I'm gonna put the shampoo on you." I told him then he nodded. Applying the shampoo I massaged it into his perfect hair. After a few moments I had applied some of the body wish to his bare body. It was so smooth and warm so I wanted to just stay like this for a while longer.

Finally I did my body and hair as well then i rinsed off myself and him. Alexis is my little ray of hope and no one is going take him away from me. Not even Barry is going to take him away from me...

Alexis POV

I was sitting alone in the faculty room in the dead of night. It was just me, my bear and the voices in my head were slowly seeping into my mind. They were whispering about something going to happen soon. I tried my best to ignore them but it was getting harder.

They whispered three things to me. The first was to prepare for the incoming invasion. The second was that there would be blood shed of a innocent lamb. The last was that the corrupted flower of love will soon wilt. The bone chilling part was that they were always correct with these things. All of this was gonna happen but I don't know when.

My stomach was again starting to hurt really badly. I ran back into the bathroom and started to vomit out vile again. As I struggled to breathe something my mouth was starting to feel loose. I ended up pulling out one of my teeth, it looked to be rotting from the inside- out.

My eyes widened examining the tooth that I pulled out. I then heard someone walking towards the bathroom so I had to move fast.

Flushing the toilet, I ran to the sink and rinsed out my mouth. "Hey, why are you doing up so late dear? I thought I heard someone over here" I looked to see that it was Misaki who got up. I quickly responded that I was sleepless and needed to use the bathroom.

She gave a soft smile and offered to help me to sleep. I agreed that I wanted her help. She then walked with me to the faculty room while humming her soothing lullaby. I grabbed my bear and followed her back back to the room where everyone was sleeping.

She laid me down on my makeshift bed and sat next to me. I did my best to get comfortable and closed my eyes. Then she stroked my head softly singing a lullaby to me. "Lu li la la, lu li la la. Go to sleep my sweet and innocent child...." Before I knew it i ended up falling into a deep sleep....
