Chapter 18

Aaron's POV

"So why did we leave our old home if we could've cleared it out again?" Alexis asked us. Silence continued to fill the car. We all knew what had happened last night but none of us wanted to say a word.

"Oh that's why? It's a bummer the thunderstorm caused that big mess..." He said. I looked over at Barry who had a sorrowful expression on his face. "We're gonna be at our new home soon, Alexis! It's gonna much better then the last one." I said in a forced cheerful voice to enlighten the mood.

Looking out the window I saw the huge mansion that we were approaching. We're gonna stay at my home to hopefully survive this apocalypse longer. My servants had the day off this all happened so it should be abandoned.

"Hey where are we even going?" Alexis asked. I told him we were going back to my mansion to which he cheered. His cheer soothed my stress because it reminds me of "him"... That horrible thing event was caused because of me...

*flashback*

"H...hey big brother stop it! Don't look at me like that..." I couldn't help myself... He just looked so cute and I wanted him so badly. I grabbed him and held him close until it was almost suffocating.

"I said stop it!" He broke loose of my grip and slapped me across the face. Feeling a stinging sensation I started to cry. How could he have slapped me like that? I did everything to make sure I was the only person in his life!

"How could you hit your big brother like that!? I saved you from death and made sure we could survive together." I screamed at him.

"Y...you're scaring me! Please stop being angry at me..." I was growing frustrated with him. Walking back and forth I contemplated what I needed to do with him.

He was crying in the corner of the room with a picture of our parents. "Mommy, daddy what happened to you...? Why did you abandon us...." He said in between cries.

"You know what! I killed our parents! I slaughtered that night so we could be alone. Because I love you Lucas!" I screamed finally letting out the sickening truth.

His face grew full of fear from what I told him." You killed our parents!? You're a monster Aaron! Get away from me!" He cried then started to try to escape the room we were in. No.. I wasn't gonna just lose him like this.

"Please don't leave me Lucas! I love you so much and did this all for you... No one can love you like I can. Mom and dad couldn't understand the love I have for you. They said they were going to separate us! " I said approaching him slowly. His face was full of tears while he panicked for his life.

Placing my hands upon his throats I started to close them around him."Ahahaha! If I can't have you... No one else can! We are going to be together forever." I said while slowly choking the life out of him. His eyes were blood shot from the lack of of oxygen. His face was turning purple as he tried gasping for air.

While he attempted to fight for his life he squeezed out his last words. "I ... you..." Letting go of him I realized what I had just done to my own brother.

I just killed the only person I had loved in this world... Holding his lifeless body close to mine, I rocked him back and forth. "Shhh it's okay. Big brothers got you in his arms.."

*end of flashback*

"We're here!" April screamed out loud happy to return here. "April, it's not very respectful of you to scream like that in someone's home. Not to mention the fact that this place could be infested." Barry said. She sighed and apologized to everyone. We laughed a little at her as Aaron opened up the door.
