Barry POV

"Guys I'd like to introduce you to someone." Alexis and I looked at Aaron and April to see what she was talking about. Soon after a girl with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes emerged.

"This is my long lost girlfriend, May. We were separated before but I found her here." May introduced herself and gave us all a fist bump. The odd thing I found about her was that she was very child like. Her hair was in twin tails and she wore a school girl outfit. Her style kind of reminded me of the old Alexis.

Well we didn't have much of choice on whether or not she was allowed to be with us. So she ended up joining us. "Hey Misaki, wanna go explore a little?" Alexis asked our former deceased teacher.

"Oh don't worry! The whole place was searched and we will be fine." Before we knew it, Alexis dashed out of the room to explore. May gave a bit of surprised look at Alexis before he left. "Why was he talking to himself? I don't see any other girls around." She questioned.

April gave a sad look to May as if she was about to cry like the rest of us. "Why don't we sit down for a moment and we will tell you our story." Since the electricity still works, Aaron  said he would make us some instant coffee.

We all went into the nearby dining room and sat down while Aaron went to make coffee. While sitting down I couldn't stop worrying about Alexis.

I don't trust Aaron around him one bit. He's hiding something and I can easily see it in his eyes ever since the day I met him. His hands tremble when he touches Alexis and the look he gives him is sickening. Tonight I'm gonna pull the mask off of who he really is.

"Hey Barry, do you take sugar and cream in your coffee?" I was snapped back into reality. I told him I'll take two of each and he sat down after he gave me them.

"So, Misaki was a gentle and loving teacher of ours that watched out for us. I mean she wasn't a great survivalist but she cared for us." I said while placing a drawing on the table. It was a little damp from the heavy rain. Luckily our clothes dried a little in the car April had carjacked.

"Before we came here, we were living at school. That's where we had found April who saved Alexis' life. Misaki would help us with chores and never complained once about it." I said next.

"Remember that huge thunderstorm from last night? Well lightening had striked down and broke our barricade. We were forced to leave before we could be overwhelmed by zombies." April went next

"Well as fate would have it, Misaki stayed behind to buy us more time. Poor Alexis was forced to watch her take our places in death. Without her we wouldn't have made it out alive." I said while placing a damp group picture of all us.

May's eyes were watering as if tears were about to come out. "Finally, Alexis couldn't cope with the idea of losing another mother. So his mind went into defense mode and blocked the memory of the event ever taking place. We just ask that you play along for the sake of his sanity." Aaron said finally to end our story. May was now balling her eyes out like a little girl. April tried to comfort her since May must be a little sensitive.

A couple of hours later

"Alexis it's time for bed. We got a long day ahead of us and we need to get supplies together." I told him while everyone else was getting ready for bed. Deciding it would safer in numbers, April and May were sleeping in the same room nearby me, Alexis and Aaron.
