The voices in my head

Chapter 10

I grabbed a new book bag and stuffed some extra clothes that fit me. It was from the show called, "Supernatural" and was baize with black angel wings. I decided it was safer to place my teddy bear in the bag so I could use both hands.

Hopefully no one would notice that I snuck out of the store. So I quietly went back into Carsons to see I was to late.

Aaron was standing there with his arms crossed and his foot was tapping. "What happened to staying inside this store where it was safer?" Aaron said to me like he was about to scold me.

I was about to make up some kind of excuse but then I heard Barry's voice behind me. "Hey who's the new kid standing in front of you Aaron?" I smile and turned around to see his mouth open in total shock.

"Oh my what happened to you darling ?" Misaki questioned looking at my new appearance. I laughed and did a 360 turn to show them the whole look. "I..I mean wow you look so different now... Just about 20 minutes ago you looked like a child and now you're just as cute but you look more of your age?" Barry questioned.

"Well you guys look different as well and I like it!" I told them looking at their new styles. Barry had cut off his pony tail and made it look like it was never there. It must've been so the zombies can't grab it. I kinda liked it though... His whole preppy type look just like died and now he was reborn as a more punk kind of person.

He wore a white colored button up shirt and there was a red tie loosely put around his neck. His pants were black along with black boots to match. His hair was made a little more untamed and loose which added to the punk. Finally he had a brown satchel around his shoulder and arm. I guess sometimes you can't break some habits.

Then Misaki looked a little different as well. She had decided to go a little more traditional to her heritage of being Japanese. She was wearing a black kimono top with red and white flowers. She had a black short skirt that went just above her knees.

She had black tights with black shoes that looked really comfortable for running. Her hair was put into a braid that transformed into a cute bun with a flower head piece.

Finally, Aaron was wearing something he would normally wear. He had shirt that was grey with white sleeves and a pocket on it. He wore loose fitting jeans and had Nike shoes to match. He had a black bookbag with I assume was the supplies they managed to find.

"Alright now I can yell at all three of you." Aaron snapped at us since the three of us decided to not stay in the store. Looking at the roof windows it looked like it was starting to get dark outside. " Uh yeah, could we maybe speed that for later? It's gonna get late soon..." I suggested to him before he could yell at us.

"You're right but later I'm gonna scold the three of you. We need to find somewhere to stay for the night, so we can head out in the morning." Aaron agreed with me. "Why don't we stay inside the employee room? There should be only one entrance so we could barricade it." Misaki suggested while pointing all the way across the department store.

After a moment of contemplating we all came to agreement and headed towards there. Aaron and Barry were in front since they still had a sharp weapon from our school. Misaki and I stayed in back behind since we didn't have anything to use but a mannequin body part.

"Barry open the door and I'll be ready to beat down whatever may be in there." Aaron whispered. Barry nodded and slowly opened up the employee room door.But nothing came out of the room though.

So Aaron knocked on the door frame to see if anything would come out. Again nothing came out so both he and Barry went inside to check things out. I stood there next to Misaki as she started to fix my shirt a little. "You have a little blood on your cheek." Misaki licked her thumb and wiped my cheek.
