Chapter 20

Hello all my little dreams! Welcome back to my story that I neglected to finish. But don't worry the great Atua has given me the divination to finish! Praise to Atua! Anyways this chapter will be a shorter due to it just being a filler before the stories end ! So please remember to vote, comment and share!

Alexis PoV

I woke up rubbing my eyes from still being half asleep. Looking around everyone was out of their beds. Deciding that it was time to get up, I grabbed my clothes and got dressed.

I grabbed my bear then went downstairs to see what everyone was doing. "Hey Alexis, want some breakfast?" I was asked. I nodded while yawning softly.

I took my seat and sat down next to April who was next to May. Right across from me was Barry drinking coffee next to Misaki. "Here ya go." Aaron served me an egg with stale toast.

"Sorry it isn't much since we don't have any supplies really on us." I told him it was okay and I ate my food. Aaron then sat down with a map a few minutes later.

" I was looking through the map this morning to find out where we can find supplies." Aaron said. I looked over at the map to see what he was talking about.

"About a mile away is a Costco and there's a slim chance they might have salvageable supplies." He continued on. "Okay, but I think we need to come in through this entrance." April pointed out onto the map. So I just continued to watch them discuss our plans to gather supplies.

When it was time to set out I had to take my pill really quick. For some reason the voices haven't been as active lately. Even when I was throwing up blood last night, they hadn't spoke a word.

"Hey Alexis, you ready?" May asked me. I snapped back into reality, I told her I was. After I got into the car in back with everyone else. Next we were on our way to Costco to gather supplies.

We all got down one by one and split into groups. I was with May and April while Aaron and Barry were together. My group took the back entrance while the guys took the front entrance.

I stayed behind April and May when we entered into the store. The place look completely trashed. There was boxes and garbage cans knocked over everywhere. There was tons of blood splatter and a few zombies in the distance.

"Hey Alexis we're all gonna take one zombie out at a time to avoid a horde. So be careful not to make any unnecessary noises." I nodded softly and put my bear in my new bag. Aaron was nice enough to give me a big enough bag for my bear and other stuff.

I clutched my bat tightly as we each approached a zombie. Then a loud skull cracking was made as I swung a the back of the zombies head as hard as I could. We started to wander around searching for anything we ended.

"Don't worry we're back again. And we're stronger than ever!" The voices came back again which caused a cold shiver to overcome me. I did my best to try to ignore them but they were more persistent then ever. "The end is coming sooner than you think..." One of the voices whispered into my ear.

Barry POV

"So... Aaron." I said while dragging my word out like I knew something. "What is it ? " Aaron replied while looking through the leftover supplies on the floor. I took a deep breathe and left out a sigh.

"We've been best friends for quite sometime right? And you know everything about me." I said while putting away some supplies into our bags.
"Yeah..." The time to reveal the truth was now. I can't let him hurt my little Alexis... "You know all of my secrets and I knew a few of yours. But is there something you're still hiding?" I asked while doing my own thing.

"No... I'm not hiding anything from you. Why do you ask?" He asked with a very cautious tone. I decided that I needed to be careful about my next move. "How do you feel about Alexis?" I asked out bluntly. He paused for a moment and went back to work.

"That's none of your concern... Why are you asking?" He said coldly. "Because you seem to confuse him with someone else..." I replied.

"Stop dancing around the subject and tell me what you're getting to." Aaron said angrily while turning towards me.

"I'm saying that Alexis is not "him"... Don't confuse the two." Aaron had a look of anger in his eyes and was growing angrier. "Remember that day we had all went swimming together?

Flash Back

"I..I don't want to take a shower in front of you guys.." Alexis said shyly while we were in the locker room of the school. "It's gonna be okay. I'm like your big brother now. You don't have to be shy around me." I told him placing a hand on his shoulder.

Flash Back End

Aaron was reaching into his pocket for something. He suddenly threw a sharp object at me but I couldn't move in time to dodge it. It had missed and hit something behind me which let out a loud groan.

I turned back to see that it was a lone zombie. "Watch your back. You never know when something is gonna sneak up on you.."Aaron said while turning away to search for more supplies. After that the day just went on with silence between us.
