"You know what you did to her wasn't very nice. You shouldn't treat a girl like that Alexis." Misaki told me while we were walking in the employee tunnel connecting to most of the backs of shops.
"I'm sorry but something just came over me..." I apologized as we were hopefully getting closer to the food court. The sounds of zombies were dying down as we were walking farther from the shop.
" I think this is a Cinnabon !" I said while looking at the door to the side of us labeled Cinnabon. Without a second thought I busted through the door and walked in. Alright where are the Cinnabites and Cinnabon's!
Barry's POV
"I'm still worried about Alexis.. I hope nothing happens to him while he isn't under our protection ." I said while thinking about how cute but how rotten he is. He brought a tranquil yet dark and optimistic aura everywhere he goes.
I've done my research long before Aaron had shown interest in him. His mother was a real successful estate agent and his father was a very well known scientist.
His past is very broken and dark yet he himself isn't is as he seems to be. I can't tell whether I want to defile every part of him or take him out somewhere and spoil him.
"I'm sure he's gonna be fine. Alexis is pretty bright and hopefully Misaki will take care of him." Aaron responded while going through the very little amount of food we managed to find.
Suddenly there was rumbling coming from the back of the food emporium. Grabbing a knife nearby I got Aaron's attention. We both slowly approached the door and were prepared for the worst.
The door swung open and we were about to strike but immediately halted. Alexis stood there with a big frown on his face and a empty bag of cinnamon bites. Aaron immediately embraced my little angel into a hug.
I mean I would've liked to hugged him too, but you know.. I saw him shake the bag around trying to express his disappointment.
"Oh Alexis you're such a delight. They didn't have any cinnamon goodies left, did they?" I laughed while ruffling his messy hair.
"No they didn't! And I was so looking forward to them." I saw the teacher mouthing how he tore up the whole area for them.
Aaron gave me a small look like a mutt telling a pedigree to back off his property. My my that won't do now will it ? Well I guess it's always been a competition between us to see who was better.
"Why are you covered in all that blood and where's you know her ?" Aaron asked while examining his clothes. "W...well she didn't make it.. The gate protecting us was broken, I was scared so Misaki and I ran away but they must've got her." He looked like he was about to cry while grabbing Aaron's shirt.
Knowing his true nature that is only half right. I know that he caused that fire in the school. When I was cuddling him earlier I saw the burn mark on his wrist. He tried to hide it with his bracelet which was pretty clever of him.
Looking at his hands they looked to be bruised and slightly cut up. Almost as if he was using brute force with them. For now I'm going to approach him more carefully. He is the only kind of boy I could ever love. So broken and sad that only I can fix him. He is certainly very ambitious and has great courage like someone I used to know...
*flashback*
"How much money did you make today big brother?" My little brother Allen asked while pulling out the little money he could make selling newspapers. I smiled and embraced him in a warm hug. "Tonight we can afford to have your favorite, chicken." I told him while rustling his hair. He cheered in joy and hugged me tightly.
It was another rough day at the bar today.. They tried to get me to sell my 15 year old body again. I promised myself I wouldn't do it but whatever puts food on the table for my little brother. Our parents had abandoned us when I was 13 and he was 8 because they were either drinking or doing drugs.
Most times I would secretly take the beatings from my mother so my little brother wouldn't have to. My father... my father did unthinkable things to my body for his own pleasure.
I had only one friend and his name was Aaron. I never told him about my brother or how we lived. He had his own perfect family that spoiled him with whatever he wanted. Why he decided to be friends with me? I will never know. Most times we would be rivals in sports during gym class or who was better at something the other couldn't do.
"Hey big brother! Since tomorrow is school make sure you study really hard, okay ? I want everyone to know how smart you are!" Allen told me while dancing around with such merry in his heart. Naturally I was a prodigy and I excel greatly in all academic fields. I picked up Allen and started to spin around while laughing with him.
Allen was so broken and depressed yet he still smiled. I make him feel whole and made him feel like I will always be there for him. He knows I was going to make sure his life would be nothing like mine and he was going to be a normal kid. No one is going to strip him of his childlike innocence like they did to me...
*Flash back ends*
"Hey Barry are you okay ? It looks like you're about to cry." Mrs.Yamada asked me while showing empathy. I rubbed my eyes and tried to regain my composure once again. "I am fine Mrs.Yamada. Thank you for showing your concern." I told her showing a smile to reassure her. She happily nodded at me and rubbed my back. Mrs. Yamada was always a kind and caring teacher.
If I could've picked any teacher in our school to save it would be her. She's like the mother that I wished I could've had as a child. Though she has a tragic past and is still trying to find how to cope. "Everyone if you don't mind I'd like to change into something not covered in blood.'" My little dark angel joked around. Looks like we were going to get some new clothes to wear.
