Happy Easter my little dreams! I hope you all had a nice Easter or normal day. Please relax and enjoy the next chapter. I hope that I haven't offended anyone with how I interpreted this Mexican holiday. ( Even though I'm Mexican and know my culture pretty well.) Remember to read, vote and comment! I love you all ~

" A little snip here. A cut there. And done!" I finished cutting out the paper picado to show everyone how to make them. "The idea is to cut out little patterns on the colored paper to make papel picados. They don't have to be perfect so just have fun!" I explained while passing out small stacks to everyone.

During the party April and I explained how we wanted to celebrate the Mexican holiday known as, "Dio de los Muertos". Luckily, everyone agreed it would something fun to participate in. Grabbing a yellow paper, I started to cut out a new one. My mommy and daddy used to make them with me all the time...

"Hey Alexis, could you maybe help me? I kinda keep cutting the lines too thin and they end up ripping." I looked to see Aaron struggling to cut his own. I couldn't help but chuckle as I once had the same inexperience. " I asked for you help! Not for you to judge me." Aaron mumbled in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry! I couldn't help but laugh, okay ? I'll help you now." I started to teach him a easier way to avoid cutting the lines too thin. My daddy used tell me to use a light colored marker to guide my scissors where to cut along.

"Okay, I'll try it and see if it works for me." Aaron said with concentration on his project. I looked over at Misaki's and they really popped out at me.

"Wow those are so pretty Misaki ! And here I thought you would be doing the worst out of all of us." I grinned and admired her papel picados. "That isn't very nice to tell your dear teacher now is it!? But, thanks for saying they look pretty." She replied in a flustered tone. Looking closer at the designs, they looked just like cherry blossoms.

Right now I was in charge of helping make papel picados, while Barry and April were getting together supplies for costumes and the ofrendas (offering tables). My mommy would usually help me make the offerenda for our family.

Of course I threw my current job on Aaron and Misaki. It was because I had a secret mission. Well, more like it was a surprise for everyone. Making up some kind of excuse I snuck into the home economic office with my bear in hand.

Placing the bear on the table, I got to work. I found a once cute but bloody apron and wore it. Then opening up the refrigerator, I searched for all the ingredients. Lucky for me I remembered all the ingredients and recipe by heart.

Unfortunately, I had to figure out how to substitute some ingredients. I'm guessing no one took the time to loot this room because there was more than I expected. While looking around I found two cracked bowls, a chipped measuring cup and other things I needed.

Grabbing a rag and wetting it, I stared to clear off my work station. "Excuse me but I need to use this right now." I said while politely flicking off an ant on the counter.

After, I measured out the ingredients to the best I could do. It was kinda hard to since half of the numbers had basically deteriorated away. As I was measuring the last ingredient my stomach immediately cramped up like last night.

When I grabbed my stomach in pain, I ended up dropping the glass onto the ground. It caused a loud sound but the room had pretty thick walls.

Using the rag I coughed violently into it while my insides were squeezing violently. It felt like someone just stabbed me multiple times with each muscle contraction. Eventually, I stopped coughing and the rag had blood from the slight internal bleeding.
