Chapter 5 - apologies

It was all like a movie. The high pitched noise ringing in my ears as I caught a glimpse of the light above me. My vision blurred and faded several times, before I lifted my hands up slowly to cover them. Once I did, I felt my vision become clearer and I looked around the room to see where I was.

I was in a hospital bed, in a room, on my own.
I quickly clicked the assistance button many times, before a few nurses came rushing into the room, pretty much pinning me back down onto the bed to check up on me.
" you'll be okay, Anna. you just had minor concussion " The lady said, before beginning to leave the room.
" shall I let your guests in? " She smiled weakly.
" yes please " was all I could say.
She nodded lightly before closing the door behind her, only for it to be opened seconds later quicker than ever.
" Anna! " Grayson almost yelled, running over to me and wrapping me in the most tight hug I've ever had.
" Grayson, my wrist " I groaned, as Gray quickly jumped off of me and examined my wrist.
I hadn't even seen it yet, and as soon as I did, I was shocked. It was extremely swollen, and a large bruise was beginning to form just where Nate had held it.
" I'm so sorry " Grayson sat down on the chair next to me, sinking down in embarrassment.
" why are you sorry? " I asked, extremely confused.
He sighed, looking down at the ground.
" I should've gotten to him sooner... before he could hurt you. I should've stopped you from going out there in the first place, it's all- " He blabbered, but I cut him off by placing a kiss to his lips. Once I pulled away, I rested my head against his gently.
" Grayson, none of this is your fault. It's Nate. He shouldn't have done this, you can't blame yourself for his actions " I whispered, now looking up into his beautiful hazel eyes.
He smiled, pulling me in for a much more gentle hug than last time.
" I love you, Anna Wells " He smiled.
" I love you too, Grayson Bailey Dolan " I laughed, even though my wrist was currently throbbing in pain.
" Don't use my middle name " He smirked, now holding my hand.
" okay Bailey " I joked, as he rolled his eyes but let out a giggle.
I soon heard some more footsteps coming closer to my room, only to see all of my bestfriends standing there.
" Anna are you alright? " Hunter asked, rushing over and sitting down next to Gray.
" do I look okay? " I joked.
He let out a sigh of relief, obviously happy that I am being my usual self.
" I was so worried about you, Anna " Kendall said, also hugging me, but being very gentle on my wrist.
" I'm okay guys " I smiled reassuringly.
" all of our viewers were worried, but we reassured them that you'd be fine " Blake said.
" how do they know about this? " I asked in shock.
" news travelled fast, I'm guessing it came from Nate " Cameron rolled his eyes at his name.
" yeah, I'm pretty sure he's getting a lot of his stuff cancelled with Playlist for causing all of this " Ethan nodded.
Thank god, he's getting what he deserves.
" What exactly happened? I didn't see it " Brandon asked.
" Nate tried to kiss her and stuff, she pushed him off but he hurt her wrist... then Grayson came and started fighting him, then Anna got pushed by Nate and fell, and BOOM. Here we are " Weston answered for us.
I laughed at him, the good thing about having my friends here right now is that they're putting a smile on my face, even though this is a horrible situation.
" he's in for it, I'm telling you now " Ashton clenched his fists.
I pulled a funny face thinking about Ashton fighting Nate, he's 13! But thinking about it now, Ashton could probably do some good damage to him. I'm not going to let him though, I'm not risking one of my little brothers getting hurt.
" Ashton I'm not letting you do anything " I sighed, soon thanking him for looking out for me though.
" do you know when you're getting out? " Ariel asked me.
" nope, hopefully soon " I sighed, looking down at my painful wrist.
" well, you're fine, just a sore wrist, so what's the point keeping you in? " Olivia shrugged.
" probably because I had minor concussion, I only just woke up before she let you guys in... how long was I out for? " I asked.
" a couple hours " Brandon said.
" oh " I mumbled, I didn't know I was out for that long.
It probably doesn't seem like long though, there's people who are in comas for months, maybe even years! But my friends had been waiting out there, praying I'd be okay. They were probably terrified.

* a few hours later *

" so Anna, since we've bandaged up your wrist, you're free to go. If you have any type of headache or pain, take this medicine. It should start to feel fully better in the next couple days. But for now, stay home and rest, okay? " The lady said, raising her eyebrow at me.
I nodded, looking at my bandaged wrist and sighing. This isn't how I wanted to spend my time here in Florida. I'll have to miss out on meeting my viewers, and Grayson insists on staying with me, so he'll have to also.
We all left the hospital, driving very carefully back to the hotel. It was now around 1am, since we were at the party and I was passed out for a few hours.

As soon as we arrived we went up to our hotel rooms, and said goodbye to our friends for the night. I brushed my teeth with my left hand, before getting into some pyjamas and straight Into bed. I suddenly began to feel extremely guilty, like all of the people who'd paid to meet me wouldn't be able too. So I went onto twitter to apologise for the people who I won't be able to see the next few days.

I've been in bit of an accident and have injured my wrist, so I have to stay at the hotel and rest. You'll still have an amazing experience, but unfortunately Grayson and I won't be there to be apart of it. I love you all so much, have a lovely night - Anna Xx
